Interesting. Hope it stays like that, and that it's just their web shop.Trensharo wrote: Mon Apr 01, 2024 10:03 am The Add-Ons are still listed in the PreSonus Shop in the Studio One DAW application.
And, they should communicate it.

Can you provide a link to where they are available to buy?
As he said, you can access them from inside Studio One, in the shop tab. Looks like an oversight to me tbh, since on the website it clearly states that it's Studio One+ only. Or they messed up the website for their PreSonus stuff.dellboy wrote: Mon Apr 01, 2024 12:18 pmCan you provide a link to where they are available to buy?
All the ones I click on say they are only available in Studio One+.
Of course any new development has an effect on existing product lines as resources aren't endless. And of course a CEO explicitly voicing his expectation on something else than a full fledged production DAW also has an effect on the direction of the product department.Trensharo wrote: Mon Apr 01, 2024 11:39 am That statement you quoted doesn't make me triggered. It just means I think you're stupid.
So what? No-one is making you pay a subscription. I'll bet you have never purchased any of the products they have made exclusive to subscription, have you? So why would you give a f**k?Crossinger wrote: Mon Apr 01, 2024 9:28 amTotally agree - but maybe they now overplay their hand. If I would make money from the tool, I wouldn't hesitate to pay the annual subscription fee. But I'm a 100% hobbyist, dabbling with my gear every 4 weeks or during holidays. So paying for an upgrade during a sale (usually still less than 100 bucks) for two years (between major releases) is acceptable for me, while paying annual $179 is not. That's an easy decision.
So what? There are already plenty of exclusives to subscribers and that hasn't annoyed you, has it? you're complaining about something you never intended to buy anyway, which is just f**king stupid. If you had been interested, you'd already own that stuff and you still wouldn't care.chk071 wrote: Mon Apr 01, 2024 9:59 amSure, but, the way it already is now is that you HAVE to subscribe if you want to get the addons (meaning all plugins, sample sets and other content Presonus ever released) for Studio One.
This shows how little perspective you have on the subject. Adobe charge US$660 per year for a Creative Cloud subscription, Autodesk charge US$1875 a year for 3DS Max or Maya (not both). That's the kind of money companies charge their professional users. US$179 a year is definitely more the sort of price you'd expect as a hobbyist. But I'm a 100% hobbyist, dabbling with my gear every 4 weeks or during holidays. I don't see that at all. The shit they give to subscribers is exactly that - shit. If it was offered to me for free, I still wouldn't be interested in it.... it certainly looks like they want to push people into subscribing
No, they haven't and only a complete moron would read it that way. You guys clearly have no f**king idea about how the world works.Trensharo wrote: Mon Apr 01, 2024 10:03 amI still uninstalled it because they've clearly stated where they are going, and that's not the destination on my ticket.
And yet he still manages to appear more knowledgeable than you. Go figure?Trensharo wrote: Mon Apr 01, 2024 11:39 am1. First you project your ignorance onto this entire forum, and now your dissatisfaction onto me...

In fact I have: bought "Ampire High Density Pack" and "Porta Cassette" Console Emulation.BONES wrote: Mon Apr 01, 2024 12:31 pm So what? No-one is making you pay a subscription. Yes. That's why I said people need to buy the add-ons they want ASAP, before they close the loopholes and force subscriptions to access them.noremorze wrote: Mon Apr 01, 2024 12:21 pmAs he said, you can access them from inside Studio One, in the shop tab. In thaqt case, you got what you wanted so, again, why do you give a f**k?Crossinger wrote: Mon Apr 01, 2024 1:27 pmIn fact I have: bought "Ampire High Density Pack" and "Porta Cassette" Console Emulation.
Or maybe Presonus don't want to f**k existing users around and are trying to get new users onto subscription from the get-go? Or is it much easier to believe they f**ked up, rather than that you are misinterpreting their actions?noremorze wrote: Mon Apr 01, 2024 12:21 pmAs he said, you can access them from inside Studio One, in the shop tab. No problem. Would have been nice if PreSonus had communicated about it, so we wouldn't have to speculate. Not liking how they are handling this, reminds me of Cakewalk.dellboy wrote: Mon Apr 01, 2024 12:36 pmOk,I see it now thanks.noremorze wrote: Mon Apr 01, 2024 12:21 pmAs he said, you can access them from inside Studio One, in the shop tab. If you look at it purely empirically and use statistics from past releases for the calculation, then: Yes!
