The bundles are exceedingly good value, but alas like you I have too many synths and FX already and really need to stop buying more just because "good deal"!Hanz Meyzer wrote: Wed Feb 15, 2023 8:08 amYes, UVI is very experienced in making professional plugins and DSP using JUCE and supporting the recent standards on mac, see UVI Shade. Also they do good designs. I guess that this is a win-win.Tj Shredder wrote: Wed Feb 15, 2023 6:31 am Now I understand why UVI was keen to be aquired by Image Line. Maybe they need their servers… UVI doesn‘t know how to host sample libraries, and IL doesn‘t know how to do Mac software… win-win…
Also containing UVI Shade, Drumdesigner and Austrian Grand, all for only 89€...machinesworking wrote: Wed Feb 15, 2023 7:57 am There's a sale at Image line on two UVI bundles Emulator II library, Sparkverb among other things in the bundle.I would immediately buy this, but I already have so many synths, drums and fx. But even then, this looks like a lot of fun.

Maybe Image Line can set up a proper UVI forum.

Absolutely agreeing, yet UVI Shade is a really, really good EQ, might be better than the other usual suspects. The gui and workflow is super nice. And it also has resonant filter models.PieBerger wrote: Wed Feb 15, 2023 9:21 am The bundles are exceedingly good value, but alas like you I have too many synths and FX already and really need to stop buying more just because "good deal"!

I had Shade before but I sold it because I wasn't using it much and wanted the money for something else. The DSP and features are/were great though. My FF bundle is EDU so I can't resell it and I decided I should focus more on using Volcano instead of learning/using Shade as alternative/compliment. I also really don't like that Shade (and also Falcon) has dynamically allocated automation parameters, it really upsets the workflow I have with Macros/Remote Controls and my Push 2. Definitely not a bad plugin, just one I could live without. 89e is still a great deal for those with the appropriate gaps in their collection!Hanz Meyzer wrote: Wed Feb 15, 2023 12:36 pmAbsolutely agreeing, yet UVI Shade is a really, really good EQ, might be better than the other usual suspects. Both good value collections, just already have most of their contents.
Only Keysuite Bundle for $99 or less would probably interest me now.

Ok, bought it, and I do not regret it. This will be a lot of fun. I really like the resonant filter variants in UVI Shade.

For anyone who has Shade, you can pick up some very nice presets courtesy of Arctic Fox Studios. The link is in the info box underneath this video:

Same here, but even slower. Their server storage system really is too small. Also the new products do not appear under my-products and the portal app does not work at all here (endless downloading). Hehe hopefully this will be sorted out soon.cwmod wrote: Mon Feb 13, 2023 6:49 pm Is it just me, or is download time a general problem with UVI?

For whatever reason, they have a bandwidth problem connected to German ISPs. Didn‘t believe it, used a VPN to change location to France, problem solved.

UVI Portal seems to use some kind of torrent technique... Torrents can be blocked by German internet providers. Maybe I am wrong. Couldn't make UVI Portal working... Stuck at "Gathering information 2/2".
How do I get such a VPN on macos? I don't have any such account.medienhexer wrote: Wed Feb 15, 2023 7:51 pm Try a VPN.
