I think I said this here before, but in case I didn't - a guy I used to work with (who was about 10 years older than me) told me of when the album was released they used to put a pair of speakers in a wardrobe and put the album on at full blast with someone sitting between the speakers when they dropped acid. He could remember people who made it through the first side of the album, but no one made it through the second half.

hehe, ive dropped acid to so many records and freaked out! never sure if it the music or the acid or just the moment as te ame songs next time have many different effects,,,
it is an incredible record though, both musically and technically speaking
and with or without acid.
