Waldorf and Roland are the two companies that are almost there and then they give up and move on to new stuff.
They do have great half baked products but i wish they would give the support of their products more love until they are as perfect as they can be with no show stopper bugs before they move on.

Afternoon everyone. We get a lot of feedback on this forum and always really appreciate it. I’m currently working on a list of bugs and fixes that users frequently encounter while using our instruments and wanted to make sure I haven't missed anything. If you could take a few minutes to share some of the things you experience frequently, be it performance issues etc.. even if they’ve been shared before, that would be super helpful!

RCM: still goes offline a lot between reboots, sometimes even in the middle of a Windows session. My PC is permanently connected to the internet and yet I often need to login again in order to use my permanent licenses.
XV/JD: the bank names are not properly trimmed, making the patch display a mess when I load a bank with a long name.
XV-5080: the CPU spikes on recent Mac processors.
JD-800: the TVA T1 is inconsistent on maximum attack times, at T1=100 on certain patches it often plays notes with the attack time at 0.
Zenology: there's no way to clean up the unused/unlicensed banks. In this thread we had to figure out where the banks are stored and delete them manually in order for the load times to get acceptable again. (Okay this is more like a feature request, but seriously the license validation times in Zenology have been atrocious since the flood of small near-weekly expansions in 2020-2022)
J8/J60: the already mentioned broken arpeggiator speed parameter that's been removed (i.e. not fixed) in V2.
Anything else?

a bit vague from me but all Cubase 13 Pro projects that contain any Roland plugins take significantly longer to load.

The problem you noted with the XV-5080 is also present with the JV-1080vulpes777 wrote: Thu Jan 23, 2025 9:43 amOkay I'll start:Jon at Roland wrote: Thu Jan 23, 2025 12:43 am Afternoon everyone. I think the problem are the same on all of them since they are the same code.Echoes in the Attic wrote: Thu Jan 23, 2025 1:44 pmThe problem you noted with the XV-5080 is also present with the JV-1080vulpes777 wrote: Thu Jan 23, 2025 9:43 amOkay I'll start:Jon at Roland wrote: Thu Jan 23, 2025 12:43 am Afternoon everyone. So All the SRX, JV and the XV5080 needs to be fixed.
Then we have this issue that i brought up in 2021:
"D-Fusion wrote: ↑Thu Dec 16, 2021 2:30 pm
I have been waiting for Months on a Fix for a serious bug in the SRX Dance Trax where it doesn't save the preset properly.
When using PCM from SRX B Waves and save it as a Preset it points to SRX A Wavebank on Reload and the workaround they gave me is to Select SRX A and then SRX B to get to the correct PCM Sample in your preset.
Hope this will be fixed soon."

The biggest issue is that people with Lifetime keys like myself still are subject to monthly phone home and that system sucks and doesn't work with any sort of reliability or stabilityJon at Roland wrote: Thu Jan 23, 2025 12:43 am Afternoon everyone. That has been addressed countless times on every forum you participate in Jon and it is still not fixed and has been an issue for years, one you and your predecessors have acknowledged and put on the "list"
The issues with RCM and phone home give your company a giant black eye and make Roland Cloud and Roland Japan look very bad
It's amazing other companies are able to figure this out, but Roland can't

Zenology taking 7 seconds to load in the best case scenario, to over 20 seconds if you've installed a lot of packs.Jon at Roland wrote: Thu Jan 23, 2025 12:43 am Afternoon everyone.
