With regards to demos, here is something I improvised using some of the presets in the Cinematic Collection:

Nice! :D You seem to use a lot of the sounds. How many different sounds did you use?

Just curious, how do you know when the end of a page is done, to post on the top anyway?

Thanks :)

The entire demo was done with 16 instruments, -one instance of Sampletank ;)

The entire track is only using about 6% of one of my CPU cores as well (Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600).

As it was me who started the Sound On Sound thread, I feel I should apologise for my lacklustre "damned with faint praise" original post there. I really should have waited until I was in a better mood! Hey-ho.

As a Sampletank2 XL owner, I am wondering if I would be able to give away the Sampletank2 XT that comes with the sound collections.. anyone know? I'd rather someone else have a chance to play with it..

I also read that there are extra sounds for existing ST2 XL owners who got in on this deal..

I bought ST2 XL from esoundz nearly 7 years ago ( man, time flies). I guess I get an extra free library in this deal? Double woohoo! :)

Where/how do I download the extra library please? I don't see it in my esoundz account. I just ordered this group buy from eSoundz and am downloading the files right now from IK:) I've got my 4 collections ( with no overlap with what I already have :) ) and I just need to know where to get the free sounds being given to existing ST2 XL customers, or whatever extra perks there are for ordering on esoundz. Thanks!

I've been wondering how suitable the Cinematic pack would be for more traditional orchestral scoring? The demos I've heard so far seem to focus on the more unusual effects and I couldn't quite work out from preset names whether it has any 'clean' classical brass, string and percussion patches?
I'm thinking between this or the Dimension LE with Garritan Pocket Orchestra.
I'd very much appreciate it if somebody could post some samples with more traditional symphonic / orchestral sounds.
Thanks!
