So yeah it works, waiting for 2.0
And how much did that cost?

Post

I'm offered to upgrade for 149€. I haven't upgraded yet, though, as I don't really need it.

Post

149 dollars I think. I only took it because I'll be getting 2.0 for free.

I guess that's valid till it's out, which should be sometime this month
In process of making music that reeks of turd

Were there ever plans to add notation? I vaguely remember reading that the devs were kind of opposed to the idea (complex development effort for something that can be done 1000% better by an external app, time better spent on perfecting core features, etc)

What I'd like to see is some kind of ARA-like integration of external notation programs...

Post

notation to punch in notes.

That would be awesome!

i also upgraded to the editor version for 149$ and it intergrates with studio one great:)

Any other one who have problems to get Melodyne working in S1 32bit ?
Melodyne is installed and registered, works fine here in S1 64bit and standalone 32bit/64bit.
In S1 32bit when I say "Edit with Melodyne" (or pressing [CTRL]M) just a small info window appears which says Melodyne has to be installed.

I think when I ran the installer, I had to make sure to select both the 32bit and 64 bit versions of the vst2.4 plug.
If the dll's aren't in your 32bit vst plugins folder, run the installer again, and make sure they're selected.

Same here, although the upgrade is €149 for us Europeans.
Thanks to the ARA concept Melodyne Editor is now tightly integrated in my S2 Pro. IMO this makes it the most powerful+affordable combo for audio manipulation! Of course only until the free upgrade for Melodyne 2.0 comes out, which is supposed to be this month :-)

Hi All,

Reading the last few pages of this thread got me to look closer at the Melodyne Editor - I want it! :hihi:

Two questions:

- I just upgraded to Studio OneV2 Pro, but haven't installed it yet... Once I have M-Essentials properly installed/activated, will there be a link to upgrade to Editor, or do I have to visit Celemony's site?

- At the Melodyne website, there's mention of an iLok... Necessary for the upgrade, or not?

Thanks. :)
