Ctrl-MOD has some shorties. 4” cables.

I don’t known that it’d be worth shipping to the UK, but they’ve worked great and I want more.

I am kind of OCD about cables I guess... my ideal would be 5 lengths of the same style, one color per length. They have to hang straight from the hanger without curling up or kinking (I only kink-shame cables).
I once tried to consolidate on ModularAddict skinny cables, one color per length. It was going to be great! But of course I didn't get enough for my future needs, and then they were out of stock forever... so now I have 5 different brands now. It's not worth trying to consolidate again though

Cool, thanks... though (except for the black and white) they are butt-ass-ugly colours, that are billed as "camo"... oooh, well, yippy-f**kelxsound wrote: Wed Mar 30, 2022 6:45 pm Ctrl-MOD has some shorties. 4” cables.

I actually love the olive green ones. I bought some black ones too.
They have more colors, but these are the one with the shorties.

They still have the 4in ones in their standard color palette and Crono.elxsound wrote: Wed Mar 30, 2022 9:05 pm They have more colors, but these are the one with the shorties.

Glow in the dark could be cool… from working the patchulator, I know I never want all black barrels. The other night it was late and I had the brilliant idea to swap their green cables + black barrels for my multicolored patch cables. It wasn’t until I swapped them all that I remembered the patch cables were only mono.foosnark wrote: Thu Mar 31, 2022 2:03 amThey still have the 4in ones in their standard color palette and Crono.elxsound wrote: Wed Mar 30, 2022 9:05 pm They have more colors, but these are the one with the shorties.

No, it's a pretty old release. Turns out the synth in the vid was a design Richard did for Cre8audio, and will be shown at SuperBooth22, which is May 12-14 in Berlin.

I'm obsessed with Phasers! Particularly those which have CV inputs and the ability to turn the internal modulation off (or better yet, no internal modulation).
I always had a boner for the Doepfer 12-stage vactrol phaser (A-101-3), I love the idea of being able to patch out the different stages. The Pittsburgh Phaser also looks cool in that regard; it's nice that they have broken out some of the stages. I imagine you can get some nice Bi-Phase sounds with it. It's also coot to have some static stages and others being modulated.
I have a ton of pedal phasers but not many euro modules have spoken to me. The coolest ones always take up so much space! I love my BugBrand Phaser, it works really well within the feedback loop of a BBD or PT delay.

Me too, but only the ones that stun and kill. I have to say the delay/phaser module that I got in the System 100 series is pretty tame. May well be the same as the original, but I guess I'm too used to nuts effects. Probably trading that in when I get round to it / run out of rack space.
I'm piping all the modular tracks back to a DAW so get to use software effects and I love the Eventide Phaser. It's got a creamy old school vibe. The D16 Fazortan and Godfazer are better than the hardware one too. Still trying to stick to my rule that all effects, sequencers and things like that are on the DAW and I'm focusing on buying analog modules for the rack to provide natural slop and wobble.

These are fun. I still don’t use it to its full potential. I like what red means recording did in his video.rob_lee wrote: Sat Apr 02, 2022 6:39 pm Purchased from Thomann an hour ago, should be here within a week. Looking forward to trying it out![]()

Yeah i liked that video mate. I was wanting to change the knobs. I seen someone using black with white tips somewhere it might have been that guy.
Do you know what size the knobs on the QD are? I wanna replace mine when it arrives. Any links welcome.
