thanks
I have not seen this! I tried looking through previous tickets and nothing there either. Let me ask around and see if anyone else has had this issue and I'll send you a DM when I hear back. I might need to get some more information from you to create a ticket. Appreciate it, Echoes.
Great thanks Jon. I’m on the latest MacOS and latest Bitwig Studio and latest Roland cloud versions.
I am on the 5.3r8 beta and emailed Bitwig about a bug I noticed - in my case related to Stepic plugins but may help you too - that they didn’t work properly unless you ran them using the most isolated plugin settings.

I set it to sandboxed individually. No difference. Thanks anyways.

Zenology FX is rarely talked about - but I think it should be possible to purchase separately.

This is the error:

thanks
Appreciate this info, WatchTheGuitar! We need time to test and because of this we are unable to support beta versions. Obviously it's possible our plug-ins will work fine with beta versions, but there is no way to know for sure. If you are having issues with our instruments in 5.3 beta, I would suggest downgrading to a previous version.

Echoes, what version of Bitwig are you running?

Hey Jon I’m using the latest official release- 5.2.7, not the beta.

Anyone know if it's true there will never be a JP 8000 clone because Roland had the chip special designed amd then either lost the design, or said designer passed away? There's a big discussion about this on another forum.

That certainly may prevent a true DSP emulation from happening that uses the original code but even without that, someone could create an emulation of the synth using their own original code. Would it be bit-for-bit perfect? Highly unlikely. But might it sound the same/similar enough? Sure.

Maybe if Plogue created it themselves.

I don't know, we were discussing this and someone brought up the point that no other Roland Supersaw sounds like the JP, so I think it's a possibility.

I don't think we will ever see any new Roland Synths in plugin form

Eventually Roland will replace ACB and/or Zencore with something new so they can sell "new' hardware versions of the Jupiter 8 and Juno again then we might get "new" plugins but they will just be yet another Jupiter 8 and Juno

Why would a large company like Roland somehow have lost all their important schematics and patented code and design?
And why would they not make any more soft synths?
None of this makes any sense at all.
