I do NOT believe that, it is a bait and switch for getting subs.
When I read it yesterday it was gone very fast. I cant imagine 3030 ppl on the trigger waiting for Roland mails.
Not ONE second, very lame Roland.

I think so too, honestly. It's the marketing...Septic Underground wrote: Tue Mar 04, 2025 7:12 amI do NOT believe that, it is a bait and switch for getting subs.

What do you not believe? Note that the offer was posted to their socials, Facebook and IG, their site and possibly other places too - I had seen and claimed mine before the email showed up. And I posted the deal on a few sites, and others from there got their licence too after me.Septic Underground wrote: Tue Mar 04, 2025 7:12 amI do NOT believe that, it is a bait and switch for getting subs.

I just checked, and they still haven’t changed the website to show that there are no keys left. Is that so hard to add a line of text saying the offer has ended or something similar?planetearth wrote: Tue Mar 04, 2025 1:40 amAnd most giveaways don't tell you on the sign-up page that they're out of free licenses.Examigan wrote: Mon Mar 03, 2025 11:22 pm They are offering a 3 month subscription in place of it.
They didn't give out the code to use for it in the email that went out.
"After you’ve signed in or created an account, click the 3-Month Membership banner. You’ll be directed to a secure payment iframe. Enter your unique code in the coupon field"
They should update that webpage to show they are out of keys, instead of just letting people give them their email address. https://www.rolandcloud.com/news/happy-303-day
No code in my E-Mail either.db3 wrote: Tue Mar 04, 2025 7:54 am I contacted support because their email was missing a code for 3 months free Ultimate. They did at least respond within a few hours and update my Roland Cloud account.
Same here, there seems to be a bug in the email layout. The code, however, shows up fine when I click "View Email Online" near the bottom of the email.D-Fusion wrote: Tue Mar 04, 2025 12:58 pmNo code in my E-Mail either.db3 wrote: Tue Mar 04, 2025 7:54 am I contacted support because their email was missing a code for 3 months free Ultimate. I Only got a walkthru on how to get my 3 Months of Ultimate Sub and a note that i needed the Serial to get it which was nowhere to be found in the E-Mail.
Great and thanks for the tipsvulpes777 wrote: Tue Mar 04, 2025 3:29 pmSame here, there seems to be a bug in the email layout. The question is: while I definitely appreciate the gesture, is there anything really of interest to me* in the ultimate catalog?
JD-800, maybe, if just the TVA bug was fixed
Zenology Pro...also maybe, I sure won't be downloading all the expansions after I finally got it to start up in 7 seconds![]()

*besides the lifetime keys I already have, that is.
Show me a developer who posts that the offer for something they were generously giving away has ended. Waves doesn't do it. Arturia doesn't do it. Native Instruments doesn't do it. Plugin Boutique doesn't do it.Examigan wrote: Tue Mar 04, 2025 12:50 pmI just checked, and they still haven’t changed the website to show that there are no keys left. I'm mostly here for the Persing-era plugins, which unfortunately have been left:db3 wrote: Wed Mar 05, 2025 9:16 am I've picked up a few lifetime keys, mainly classic mono & poly analogues. I one I tend to use the most is the SH-2 for its juicy tones. The free 3 months ultimate sub has at least let me try a bunch of presets across all synths — Roland should include more of these packs for free with lifetime keys.
Could not agree more Marco. Eric's legacy is huge and I am amazed that Roland hasn't bothered to actually present that in a usable way to honor thatvulpes777 wrote: Wed Mar 05, 2025 12:48 pm I'm mostly here for the Persing-era plugins, which unfortunately have been left:
- incomplete (missing banks, sysex import and other features),
- buggy (the display bug and especially, for me, the JD-800 TVA),
- victims of questionable marketing decisions (the separate SRX plugins, which are also an incomplete set)

- and overall abandoned (stuck with a terrible patch browser and very few expansions released since Zenology launched: XV-5080 only has one and they didn't bother to officially port the expansions they had released for the JV-1080)
