Yup. I could be missing something, but here's what i just did to double check:jeanmariecannie wrote:Did you try it ?serge wrote:So when you go to the next pattern, the same selection is zipped.
See ya,
jmc (FL Studio)
1. open up fl studio
2. do some work leave 1 channel unuzed, populate the others
3. go to pattern 2 leave a different channel not used, but populate others
4. go to pattern 1, zip the unused channel
5. go to pattern 2, you will see that the channel you zipped in pattern one is zipped.
So Zipping is preserved when you go from pattern to pattern, no matter if channels are used or unused.

Amen - not to brag or suggest anything about being so damn smart and cool, but often there seems to be commentary about FL features that exist - instead of being rude towards people who haven't found all the little bits I've noticed just by fiddling constantly with the demo and reading a lot of KVR (way too much!), I'm starting to think that as good as the documentation from my point of view is, it oughta be simplified further so that people can find out about things easier... the demo clips with automated notebook stuff serve a good purpose there, maybe it should by default open a tutorial .flp that first states something like "this is just part of the information you can find from the tutorials and manuals, checking both out thorougly will reveal you plenty of useful features you'll find in FL"...normal wrote:word ...grillo wrote:Oh if you look down some of the suggested wanted features are going to be there in the next version, but that's nothing like the huge amount of requested features in this thread that it turns out are there already. Admitted, I've enjoyed the demos over time a lot more than either of the hosts I use for the real work - very often I quickly write down ideas in FL when the inspiration strikes, and then do the painful task of recreating them in my main host(s) - and I often check out plugins in FL as well, it just somehow suits my way of thinking.

i guess what im gonna tell isn´t possible yet ..but if its already give me a "call" .. in Buzz theres an option "import song" , like that we can import to the current song other buzz file we were working and starting to think it could go well with the current song,
other thing , no way to automate presets as a whole and not just a parameter?, could be useful to not have to create a instrument clone and save some cpu..
thanks..
..and like i start it better better better buzzmachines support...

I wish FLS had a soundfont player as good as SFZ+, and a drum machine like jamstix or DK+.

Did you know you can run multiple instances of FL at the same time?Chase wrote:-I wish it was fully skinable.

For example you can run 1 instance of FL then rewire to a second
instance.
Or run 2 instances standalone and sync 'em up via a midi loopback.

...now this I did not know (the rewire FL to FL part). I haven't had to try yet, and that's probably why, but that is an EXCELLENT heads up!!! Thank you GypsyJazz.

I actually have a huge no-brainer that i FL Studio should of had along time ago (if it does someone can help me here)
The 2 initial controls in th FL Envelopes (on things like the sampler and 3x Osc) is delay and attack. Well there should be a control that adjusts the starting point where the volume at the beginning of the attack is.
For instance if i want the envelope to start at 50% and have the attack carry it to 100%, this is impossible.
Or am I wrong?

Nope, but I think Gol should just update the envelopes in the sampler to the multipoint ones in Sytrus. There's no shape you can't do with themChase wrote:I actually have a huge no-brainer that i FL Studio should of had along time ago (if it does someone can help me here)

I know you can do that, but it's a pain in the ass though.GypsyJazz wrote:Did you know you can run multiple instances of FL at the same time?Chase wrote:-I wish it was fully skinable.

Now this has always fascinated me.
What is it that bugs you about FLs GUI?
I think it's great that FL has a "non-standard"
GUI.
Is it the colors or the layout that bothers you so much?
