Sorry Markleford, only parts of that post were directed at you. The rest were part of an on-going discussion between myself and a few others. I can see how that might have been a bit confusing as I didn't seperate them very well.

So once again, sorry for the confusion.
Excuse all the blood.

Hey, understandable. Not a problem.

And deastman, that is very cool, though I can only imagine very expensive as well (if not moreso)! Interestingly, it says it's rear-projection: I imagine you could top-project on the Continuum as well (for the mere price of an LCD projector!) since the surface is essentially featureless. Better do it in white, though.

(would make it a bitch to take to gigs, but then again so would the light table)

Maybe but think how many good controllers you could buy for the cost of a single Continuum and you could then have dozens of people on the job.

Well I was the guy who posted the link after all. Still, mostly one fingery.

Here's another video, little more going on:

Towards 40 of my Edirol PCR-30 at ~$150, in fact! Can't argue with the financials of it.

You could buy a lot of Wacom tablets, too, though using a stylus isn't as immediately gratifying as fingers.

So that's where Jordan Rudess is from. I only ever knew him as "ubiquitous expensive synth gear demonstrator."

Wow, I like that Wacom table in those videos! 8)
I may have to pick one of those up.

Liquid Tension Experiment were much better IMHO, you'd do well to check out their two albums instead.
