You're a waste of a good screen name.

It would mean you're a f**king idiot for not turning down various knobs to see if they had any effect on the sound you're moaning about.Architeuthis wrote:uhh can you tell me what "backpedalling" would mean?Sickle wrote:Nice backpedalling there, buddy.
Jesus, reflections was all it was?? Fixed with a simple gain control

What the hell do we have to thank you for? Showing us all that you pass theArchiteuthis wrote:thank me for testing it for you.
In that case..

Architeuthis, I think people's reaction is based on your (now heavily edited) intitial post where you basically slagged Rayspace off and said that it didn't sound good. I don't think you really encouraged anyone to step forward and assist you, because you started out that way.Architeuthis wrote:Actually no, it was the round room that helped smoothen the reverb. With the hlep of A_Gruesome_D I was able to figure this out. I'm sure there are people who can learn form this thread. I've done well-documented testing for everyone.Amberience wrote:It would mean you're a f**king idiot
Now, it's kind of funny how you sat back and watched the thread while you wondered how to solve the problem yourself. If you didn't want me wasting a good screen name, Argitoth shouldn't have been banned. And like I said, do some of your own tests if you want to confirm this or thank me for testing it for you.
There was no "problem" to solve with Rayspace - only a problem with how you were using it and what you were expecting from it (especially in comparison to a different reverb).
Probably time to move on...

Did anyone notice M'Snah has too much DC Offset?Architeuthis wrote:but really, M'Snah has a better chord progression.
On topic note: I'm waiting for someone to confirm or dismiss my test results.

I guess that's the reason why I only get involved in a thread after the discussion is already finishedrbet wrote:Did anyone notice M'Snah has too much DC Offset?Architeuthis wrote:but really, M'Snah has a better chord progression.

Any good reason why some of you RaySpace supporters and fans don't write a review of this soft? There are none to date in the review section, and I would like to know more about this effect, if possible.

Same reason that many other products don't get reviews. We're lazy. And for me personally: I collect VST's, play with them, but I'm never a good match for the real experts. It would be like a Computer Music review: All the things they write, you can see for yourself when you look at the GUI and at the press release of a productBaxter wrote:Any good reason why some of you RaySpace supporters and fans don't write a review of this soft? I believe the main issue is that you don't want a simulation of a real space's reverbation. Why do you find the round room limiting? You can set it's size and whatnot, right?
If it gives you the kind of reverb you're after I don't see why you want to introduce corners in the room when you don't like the "sound of corners".
