Mayhem is gone. We will almost certainly re-release an updated version of Filterpod, but the rest of Mayhem will cease to be.

As for bundles, my stock answer is "unlikely." We may change our minds at some point, but not in the foreseeable future.

why don't you have like an everything bundle or do you?

AD plugs are already sold at bundle prices in my opinion. With there no questions asked return policy, it doesn't get much better from a consumers point of view...

So, we won't be discontinuing it at all, as it turns out, but will continue to offer it. I'm thinking about giving it a facelift so it looks like the current Discord 2, or giving it a 3D UI.

No no, please don't, I LOVE those old Deverb/Discord GUI's...I remember you showed me one that just killed me once that you decided not to use..You gotta keep at least one of those in your collection, man..Deverb's awesome.

No, not at all. It's a plate simulation, so it's going to be best in situations where plates do well. That is to say vocals, guitar, horns, synth. Mid-range stuff, really. For a day-to-day reverb, you really want to use a room simulation rather than a plate.

It, like its progenitor, has a definite "sound" to it. I just got done writing the presets, and thus had to use it on a lot of different source material. On vocals, piano, and clean guitar, it can't be beat. (Normal places you would consider a plate 'verb, anyways.) On drums, it is more of a special effect reverb; it _can_ do a nice enough room simulation, but that's not its strength.

I would say that if you owned this and Princeton's Stereo Room plugin, you'd be pretty much set up for all reverb eventualities. But that's my opinion, based upon my tastes.

Mid-rangey stuff, plate-region: perfect! This is where I tend to pull out the verb sends the most anyway. I guess I'll just have to try it and see. Thanks for the info.

since we seem to share the same taste in the Princeton's Stereo Room Verb I'm sure I'll buy this one.... and since I don't need another Room reverb (since all that really requires a room are drums and BFD has those already) I guess that'd be it....

does anyone want to trade a WizooVerb W2 for this one???? I'm short on cash and don't have the CPU power, PDC or need for that verb (though it is cool)
