If you used a proper host like Tracktion you would have wet and dry level controls for all effects, plus a modular routing environment for more complex arrangements.

IIRs - the last time I tried Traction it wouldn't allow DX plugs.

If the plug has latency then the wet / dry sliders are no use, granted, but it can still be set up in a rack. Anyway, GCO-1 has no latency as far as I remember...?

It still doesn't, and possibly never will as it goes against the cross-platform ethic. Either use a wrapper, or ditch the DX plugs, or don't use Tracktion.

I use DX plugins in Tracktion. Just Google FFx4. It'a a free wrapper you can use. It has a bigger brother also, the FFx16, but it's not free. The difference is how many effects you can stick in each instance. Kinda like an effects rack(actually, EXACTLY like that) that loads DX plugins and can be run as VST.

tracktion doesnt allow DX plugs? what a crock!!!!

using a wrapper is a ridiculous workaround btw.

Alot of hosts don't support DX. So what? There are alot of things that Tracktion does that other hosts don't do or at least as well. What's your point?

no, less actually.

but to my knowledge, there are still some plugs that only are DX --- not to mention i hear waveshell doesnt work that great.
