Pretty stupid comment from Propellerhead stuff memeber on FL

If I was a FLS user I'd be pissed and loud until IL at least made it as compatable as Chainer. It's been going on so long I get the feeling they can't or don't know how to fix it. Live is the next offender not as bad a FLS yet but it's getting there.

All of the FLS users say "Your VST crashes FLS when are you going to fix it?" when they should be yelling at IL to fix their f**king premier product.

i just tested once your EFM Style Micro Modular and my main hosts are fl studio and Podium and have never had a problem with it , so i really don't get your point

Not all of them are problems. FLS never had a problem with the MicroModular. Most recently Drumkit2 v0.7 crashed FLS and Live but worked fine in Chainer. I had to change Drumkit2 to make FLS happy.

Next time a VST crashes FLS or grab one that you know crashes FLS, DL the Chainer demo and see if it runs ok. If it does the problem is not the VST it's FLS.

As a developer it's a PITA to have your VST running fine on all other hosts but you have to modify it so that it doesn't crash FLS.

chainer does not supply a sequencer , nor a transport mechanism , as far as i know ...
how do you test timing issues ?...

Isn't Babya written in C##? Can you comment on that? And I heard that Ableton and Props are coming together to compete against Bayba. Is that true?

It's actually pretty amazing and a true testament to Xlutop's skill that after 5 years, Chainer is still such an extremely robust VST host. After all this time you'd think that most of the veteran VST host developers would have near bulletproof VST implementations by now.

If he meant to say FL isn't a real app he wouldn't have said "everyone else who writes real apps", he would have said "everyone who writes real apps". A small difference in wording, a crucial difference in meaning - from such misunderstandings whole wars can emerge

U know why the people says that FL sux??? Because the samples that includes the program SUX a lot and the presets of the plugins SUX HARDER!!! but u know what??? I produce with Fl and I can say that I produce PROFESSIONAL music with FL6... Just because I use VST Instruments I don't use the crappie samples that includes the program neither the awful presets of the integrated VSTi's... I just use great VST and Great Samples libraries and I'm a good musician... FL doesn't sound worse than Logic or Reason... all are the same Sh!t! If you are a bad musician your music will sound bad and doesn't matter which are your tools u can have the best software and u will sound like sh!t all depends of the MUSICIAN not depends of THE SEQUENCER THAT THE MUSICIAN USES!!

So when you say Props should be on version 7 because FL is, it's like saying I should be able to manufacture 12-year old single malt whiskey instantaneously, because you can open a bottle of Coke in only 5 seconds.

so anyway he clearly states that reason owns fl studio(or at least that was quickly made (though it's been since 1997 that fl studio has been developped ) and i really don't see the point of someone of the staff giving such childish statement;

well the 2gb of sounds coming with fl studio are quite decent , having a legit registered version or not make the difference ....
