@Noox:
I think you misunderstood me.
For sure beta testing is very important and makes sense generally.
My statement
'It doesn't really make sense to invest time into something that obviously is not even half-baked'
was only related to the audio-parts.
I have the impression that Jorgen just put them in very quickly to satisfy our demand for new features.
And I think he did it too fast.
Because it's just too obvious, that the audio-part functionality is not really implemented.
And I just don't want to spent my time for testing something where the programmer himself for sure knows
that it is not finished at all.

I seem to get a lot of 'random' crashes (app just disappearing) at the mo... I quite often got an error closing ext2 before but never one that quit the app.

@kirtap910:
Ooops, point taken and in fact I agree with you. I haven't been following XT2 these past months but I know exactly what you mean when you talk about Jorgen focusing on FRs instead of BRs
My own problem would be mainly with the buggy sampler actually. It's not really usable in its present form and it crashes way too often.

Added to list of known issues.soma wrote:Step by step, from a midi track with a VSTi on it, how did you record these VST parameters?Mighty Pea wrote:I had the same thing, recording from the track headers' little number box. It only recorded for one part, and when re-recording for the second bit (place playback-cursor at beginning of first unrecorded part, record again), the two would clash unless they were an entire bar apart. If they weren't, the first bit would sound very muffled. Very strange stuff.soma wrote:Sweet trip, I don't understand how you recorded vst parameter changes. I thought that XT is only recording CC's now.sweet_trip wrote:
recording automation from a numeric field only records on one of clips if several clips are lined up next to each other.
you can see a bigger pic here http://www.sweet-trip.net/automation.gif
if i wanted to record automation across all four clips in this pic, i would have to glue them together first...
PS I am unable to learn to the map any parameters from Atlatis.
I can't record VTS parameters yet, only the CC's that control them via a map.
