It's a shame no one has uploaded any samples of the sounds. Would sure make the decision and wait a lot sweeter. :)

I quite like the guitars (not a player either) but I do not think there is a specific Electric Jazz Guitar...Lagrange wrote:I'm quite interested in the guitars. Specifically if theres a really natural Electric Jazz guitar.. You know those real smooth sounding guitars (sorry not a player)...

Just discovered this...man, it has about 40 onboard FX

...so there is plenty of sound shaping possibilites here outside of other features for that purpose, especially considering there is *no* save limitation for this plug. The basic set are an excellent starting point for more presets or patches for tweakers. Plenty of potential here, even for a freebie. Of course it is just a taster, but a rather well cooked and presented one IMO.

IIRC Wibu was used on Reaktor3 - I can't think of too many other music products. Samplitude uses Sentinel (aka Rainbow), most everything else uses either Syncrosoft or Pace ILok. Some software at work uses Hasp. There's probably YAFD brand out there somewhere, too.Meffy wrote:@RE: Yeah, I see what you mean. I have WIBU-key drivers on my system from... hm, I forget what software installed those. :-\ Wish they weren't there.

I thought that you had to install the sound library too, maybe thats why its not making any sound?sinkmusic wrote:I installed the .exe, but didn't found any sound in it. THe browser displays patch names, but i can't load them.

I seriously feel sorry for the Yellow Tools Server... But folks... if there're people among us who can wait, that thing will also be available on DVD at stores, royalty free.
I guess KEYS Germany will also jump on that bandwagon and simply ditch the next CD but will release a DVD instead with nothing but Yellow Tools Independence Free on it. I have a feeling that this'll happen.
ANYWAY... time for me to rape the server (if he's letting me rape it). Er... did I laugh manically already? If not, I'll do so now.

Try yhe standalone mode: there is an exe in the folder, run that, choose via the broswer and try to hit the kayboard in the mapping mode. You'll hear something.sinkmusic wrote:I installed the .exe, but didn't found any sound in it. THe browser displays patch names, but i can't load them.

I have the exact same thing; standalone version is OK.
But inside my host (Logic for PC) no sound can be made
Well, I hadn't room for 2 GB on my drive anyway; a VST has to be VERY good to be that big and stay on my HD.
