Hey thanks!

well the total would probably be like $125 if I were to pay all charges for that 20-tone music box. I can't afford it right now, but it's definitely something to keep in mind for the future.

Hey, just want to show you guys what I'm talking about.

The dirty sample has lots of fluxuations, I'm trying to emulate how the musical box would sound as it is cranked. The clean sample is completely without any fluxuation, you see a large sine wave within the waveform.

Edit: Oh yeah, I'm doing a tiny bit less noise reduction this time. I'm trying to preserve the quality of the quiet miscellaneous music box sounds, I think it sounds a lot better.

Alright, just wanted to update you on my progress. By the way, if what I'm doing doesn't turn out good, I'm prepared to start over once again. This is because I'm simply getting used to my recording schedule. Every night I record for 20 minutes, during the day I cut out all the good samples and delete the rest. Rinse and repeat. I'm just slowly chipping away at it. This is the kind of schedule I'll be on when I start recording for a new sample library.

G#3 - 13 samples
A#3 - 14 samples
C4 - 14 samples
F4 - 12 samples
G4 - 3 samples
G#4 - 14 samples

70/210 samples. 140 samples to go.

Last week has been slow, only have a total of 85 samples so far. I'll try to pick up the pace, I need to get this done so I can start work on a new sample library! It will be good. :)

...61 more samples to go...

hello elan,

thank you very much, i just downloaded the library,

i have the problem, that kontakt2 (that came with the garritan-libraries, that i bought) does not read your *.nki-files.

so is there a trick to make it happen?

if not, what would be the smartest way to setup the library within logic/exs24 to make full use of your 14 different samples per note?

i'd really love to use the library soon...thanks

bojan

I've never used Logic/exs24. If you have to recreate the sample library in a different format, all the alternate samples are triggered with different velocities. If you can randomize the velocity that is sent to the sampler, then you have random robin. This is how the Kontakt and SFZ formats are setup.

Do you need any other information?

I'M DONE!

All samples are cut and I'll be releasing an update today or tomorrow.

Parma, thanks!

I'll have to send you the version without the new samples for now, it's not ready for release just yet.

Edit: If your password and username didn't work, try again now.

Sorry to say that only the Kontakt format is available for the new update. The other formats are coming soon!

HAlion format is now available thanks to bioLogic!

Also, there was a few issues with the Kontakt format, everyone should have recieved an e-mail.
