$50 f**king dollars. that is what I paid for XT 1.41 and I'm still getting free updates for version 2. You know what? I f**king drink this in an evening. this is how ridiculous this is.
I have nothing against anybody in particular but the world is getting worst and worst with money taking over our souls.

being negative on the state of xt2 wont help anyone, volume on preview is a useful addition , at least were still talking about the software so it must be special enough like it is

hey, i even can't use it on my laptop, cos it doesn't work from last version. DirectSound not supported and people already pointed on this. But still no quick fix. Nope, Direct Sound doesn't work here anymore (no audio inputs available anymore!)
This is on both my machines at work and at home (both on WinXP, one intel based, the other AMD based...)

I tried direct sound with the latest beta and I get no playback. I too use XT on a usb stick as well for my work computers for mixing purposes but cannot use the latest beta because of this. Luckily I still have the 2.5.1 release and use that on usb.
