Following disk problems, and also trying to find a way to avoid duplicate content between the various DM1/USD1/USD2 group buys, I have to reinstall my Infinite Player and all the content.
I reinstalled the Infinite Player 1.1. But when I try to install DM1 MT kits with the Infinite Library Installer 1.1, the install completes, but the kits do not load in Kontakt 3.5 due to missing samples in the .nkx sample file (I tried the Marotta and Blackwell brush kits and both had the problem).
Is this (reinstalling from scratch older Infinite Player kits with a newer Infinite Player and Library installer) supposed to work or not ?
By the way how do we remove a kit once it has been installed ?

I'm having issues with missing samples being listed when I try and load the Drum Masters 1 NDV Mapex kits (sticks and blastix) in Kontakt 3 or 4. There are no errors when I load in Kontakt Player 2. Will the free updates fix that problem?

I wasn't aware of that... seems strange but anyway yes.alogie wrote:I'm having issues with missing samples being listed when I try and load the Drum Masters 1 NDV Mapex kits (sticks and blastix) in Kontakt 3 or 4. Any news on the release of Drum Masters 2 (and the corresponding free upgrade)? Don't want to push you in any way. Even you need a looooooooooong vacation sometimes I guess.

Dang it! Sorry, Reverend Rhythm, I didn't mean to cause you grief over a simple joke. I thought it was funny that you picked up on it, and now you are accused of being imperialistic?! Good grief! I owe you some epointz for your hassle, and I promise I will follow through, as I'm going to join the group buy again, just to pick up some more loops. I sincerely apologize for any trouble I may have caused you, you imperialistic fascist!Reverend Rhythm wrote:Oops! Sorry.jensa wrote:Eh...? Reverend... that did sound 'imperialistic' to my ears and maybe the rest of the world. Even if I missed a joke or something. Hm. But I know you're a good person.
I was referring to the blond joke on the group buy thread. Didn't mean to sound 'imperialistic'. Actually, I'm not sure what 'imperialistic' means... but I hope I'm not one!

No problem. I think we all moved on. I actually think it was my fault for not quoting the joke. I should know better.roundabout71 wrote:Dang it! Have Jensa check my posts (there are not many), and he can find the blond joke.
Then he will understand the meaning of a Brazilian.

Allen got me back up and running. The DM1 kits are working fine with Kontakt 4 now.Squids wrote:I wasn't aware of that... seems strange but anyway yes.alogie wrote:I'm having issues with missing samples being listed when I try and load the Drum Masters 1 NDV Mapex kits (sticks and blastix) in Kontakt 3 or 4. What Allen had me do was (bearing in mind I had re-downloaded the zip files for the NDV Mapex kits):
Delete the NDV Mapex .nkx and .nkc files from the Infinite Player samples folder (in my case F:\Sonic Reality\Infinite Player\Samples) and then open the zip files and manually copy the .nkx files from the zip files into the same folder.
Next time I loaded the kits in Kontakt, all the samples loaded. I'm assuming the .nkc files are created the first time the kit is loaded.

An update on this... sorry it took so long. We went overboard to make these feature-packed since it was first announced. Product is better for it though. There are a BUNCH of kits that are now updated in your user area if you've purchased them. We're done updating the zips and are now in the process of making an additional "patch only" zip you can download instead of redownloading the same kit you already have. There's also going to be the PDF manual for Drum Masters 2 in there for you as well. We're in the process of updating the product pages themselves with new information but I wanted to let you know this has been happening since the beginning of the week. By next week we should have ALL of the kits of the full Drum Masters 2 Platinum updated and that product available for download and/or box/disc. Pretty exciting for us after so much time. This is the definitive version of the product we wanted to create.

Great news indeed. One question though, is there a way to notice if the downloadable files has been updated or not? I still see the same name displayed in the list of files in my user area. Will they have a new name?
Thanks again for this wonderful update. You rock/jazz/pop/walz/pogo/salsa/do-the-Rhumba!!!

Is there a way to tell if the files in your download area are the new v. 2 kits?
I lost a lot of data on a drive in a flood and I will, most likely, re-download instead of using a patch. But I want to make sure I'm downloading the updated files. Can they be labelled?
Cheers

Great news!
I know it is supposed to work like that... but it hasn't worked properly so far. Is that even possible?
Yeah. I would love it if Allen could tag EVERYTHING that is currently in my user area with those red checkmarks so that only the new stuff will not be tagged and will be obvious.BERFAB wrote:Is there a way to tell if the files in your download area are the new v. 2 kits?
