Like mine, probably.. this is the toughest osc I've had so far, but I'll manage somehow ;-)

Couldn't agree more :hihi:

Uploaded my attempt of a GOA/D'n'B track

GetTarnce - Totolitoto

18*Texture
Tal-Filter
EpicVerb
JB Broadcast
Rough Rider*2
host EQ

Post

uploaded my entry "The Age of Analog Communication". Can I post two entries? (if not I want to replace it)

Wow, you change your mind fast :hihi: :hihi: Anyway, I believe two entries are allowed (they've been so far) :)

Post

OK, I'm uploading mine.
I'm not sure whether I should kick Abstractcats for choosing this synth or Tattie for not allowing delays and reverbs... probably I'll kick both. In the teeth, it should hurt them more :x  :hihi:
Anyway, by far the thoughest osc for me so far, but here it is:

MOTION_Mac_of_BIOnighT

5 (I think) X Texture
Stereo expanders
Rubytube
Antress exciter
EQ

I built it on the concept of motion and gave it that title, too, because I thought that was the VST's name. I was well into the making when I realized that was the name of another plug and that this one's name was actually Texture. And I had been loading instances of Texture all the way, so one would think I should have realized. That should give you an idea of the level of stress and confusion my life has reached.
Anyway, if there's a Motion osc in the future, I'll make a track on the concept of texture and call it Texture.
 :hihi:

edit: oops, I uploaded the txt file twice by mistake, sorry...

I found Texture to be a bit tough, too. I guess that's the 'challenge' part of the 'OSC.'

It will be interesting to hear from yourself and everyone else, when the 'listening commences.'

Cheers!

I thought I had something one night last week but in the cold harsh light of the ensuing days, it seems I had very little. But I'll persevere and submit a redraft shortly. I don't think it was the VST (which has a pretty fine reverb by the way Mac!? (maybe I should check the rules book again - can't we use that?)) - it was more likely a sudden lack of imagination mixed with inexperience.

Glad to hear that, at least I'm not the only one ;-) It's always very exciting (and depressing) for me, too, to listen to all the tracks, especially with very tough vst's; the last osc with Stringz produced some amazing stuff indeed, and that was tough! :o

No no, wait! You just can't use external fx, but you're allowed to use the vst's fx :) I was complaining because the delay has got like three barely audible bounces, and the reverb can't be filtered and makes a mess of anything I feed thru it :(

Blender A - dwsel
Blender B - dwsel

Kinda weird form because it's a music for the animation that I should post soon here: http://www.youtube.com/user/dwsel

:-o :-o I just realized how close the dead line is :-o

I think it would be kind silly to be the one who chose the current synth and then miss getting an entry in? I did start a piece on my laptop so..... :band: :band2: :phones: ...

This was hard, not only did I have no real inspiration, but after inserting 6 texture's I was unable to listen without crackles straight from the DAW, and I needed six or seven more... :-(

This thing is called : Out of the Blue into Thin Air.

12 x Texture (2 poly-, rest monophonic)

Track Fx :

1 x Cassic Chorus (which didnt help much, on the string-patch)
2 x ReaComp (Kick, EP)

Some trackEQ, no automation.

Master Fx :

1 x NyquistEQ (3 band)
1 x CLAS
1 x Tls Maximizer.

There's something completely unrelated put on the end of it, but I always wanted to end a song on an Asus2 chord, so here it is. :-)
