Please,

give it a 2D-gui or at least leave the choice wether to use it gui-less or with gui.

On a sidenote: Thanks for that great freebie!

Fair enough!
Caco wrote:However, my goal was primarily pedagogical so if anything is mentioned that fits in with that and doesn't complicate the code then I will certainly consider it
:D

In which case...

The following would be nice (in order of preference):

1. An EQ/filter section. The basic sound is very good - smooth, clean and clear - but it'd be nice to have more control over the tone. Ideally this would be a three-band affair (lo, para. mid, hi) but even a simple HPF for trimming away some of the low end would be useful.

2. Some units: it's hardly essential but it might useful (sometimes) if Bandwidth, Predelay and Gain were specfied in kHz, ms and dB.

...TBH, though, this is already a really nice reverb and an outstanding freebie - these things would just be the icing on the cake.

Thank you :)

Does someone with an x64 system want to take a crack at an x64 version?

Is there some kind of free software that allows you to add a GUI to an existing dll file?

love the look.

i would recommend putting the mix next to the gain. (next to last in this case)

That's the predelay mix, so it seem reasonable for it to be there. The DW knob which I'm assuming would be dry/wet should be in the end set though, I agree.

Mverb sure sounds sweet, but it won't pass sound through to the following effects when working as an insert in Reaper.

Anyone else with this?

About the GUI, all elements are sent to Caco,
Following email from Martin, WIDTH & LED are removed.
I've updated the screen-shot.

a reply to a question from PM :
Background = Flash CS3 (vectorial)
Brushed metal = photoshop CS3
Knob = knobman

I've just spotted this thread today. Thanks, Caco, for this reverb and the source.

I've built a couple OS X versions: a VST version (universal, for Tiger and higher) and an AU version (universal, Leopard and higher) using Magnus Lidström's Symbiosis library. Thanks Magnus!

I'm not sure why I couldn't build the AU for Tiger because I have another AU project that does build for Tiger, but I thought I'd at least get the Leopard build out there (bragging rights ;-)). I've tested these on Intel Macs running Tiger and Leopard.

That's interesting. Haven't spotted this - I use 'verb as a send effect. I'll check it out later.

If you want, I can build a mGUI wrapper for MVerb ...
