The first post in this thread has the email address that you can send bug/feedback info to. I found them to be very responsive.

That's the message that i've when i try to install GraniteSetup116_PB9.

Can't wait to have an official release of this great granular mangler on OSX! Will get it for SURE :-)

Post

Get it now while it's on sale at 49$. You'll get the os x version for free when it's officially out.

To quote James
A few people have enquired recently as to whether the special price will include the OSX port when it is finished. To clarify that - the answer is yes. What you pay for is a single usage licence, which is independent of the platform.

So in other words, if you take advantage of the special price now, you will be able to download the OSX version when it is finished (and of course you can use the public beta in the meantime).

Do you have an Admin level account? As the installer tries to write into Applications/ and also Library/ it needs admin rights.

Yes, my account is Admin level.
Usually all the standard installers ask me an account password before going ahead with the install process.
Or when i do something with terminal, if required, i use "sudo" before the command.

I'm having the same issue. I'm using an Admin account.

Regarding these installer problems, one possible explanation would be that you installed an earlier version, which had created folders with Root as owner (the more recent installers are not doing this). If this is the case, please do a manual uninstall first. That involves deleting the following folders and/or files:

OSX/Applications/Granite (entire folder)
OSX/Library/Application Support/New Sonic Arts/ (entire folder)
OSX/Library/Audio/Plug-ins/Components/Granite.component

Does this help at all?

Yep, it was installed on 3rd December.
I've deleted them and installed the last beta successfully.
Thank you for the reply!

A new installer is available...

http://www.newsonicarts.com/granite/dow ... 6_PB10.zip

This build improved host compatibility with certain hosts, although there are still a couple outstanding issues with certain hosts.

The public beta expiry date has now been extended to the end of January.

Thanks again to everyone for the helpful testing and feedback so far! It seems we are not too far from an official release now :)
