PG8X (inspired by the JX8P): new beta version uploaded

I'd repatched some of my old patchbanks for the original JX8P and it's
sound the same, I can remember - it's great. Here are some examples,
I've recorded beside.

There's so much to do, when I'll patched them all
(about 2.500 Sounds).

Thanks so much for the positive feedback! But, please, as I said before, wait with programming more patches until I really settled on all the internal parameters. It is very likely that future changes in the plugin will destroy patch compatibility with the current version, and I dont want anybody to waste much time because of that.


I will announce when I think I have a sufficiently stable version.

Lovely sounding synth. Probably really close to the original JX8P. Are you concidering turning this to a commercial product some day? I would buy it.

Well, I was not quite decided about that yet. But I think it is not worth going through the hassle of copy protection, etc... And most things get cracked anyway. So, I guess I will just keep it freeware, but I might put a donation button on my page.

It is fun for me coding it, and i enjoy if people find it useful.

lovely synth you have created here.I honestly think it is brilliant and I will use it in my productions.
I cannot find the donate button on your page as I want to donate some cash to you,its not much,its all I can afford but I want for you to have it.
I love the JX8p synth,I used to have a jx10 but had to sell it and now I have those sounds again.
You should pack your high pressued job up and become the next Native Instruments.

Could you give some more details what exactly is going wrong, or different to your expectations? Does it happen on the presets or on own patches?

On the left?? Are you talking about aftertouch??

The velocity is controlled via the 'dynamics' sliders.

I am glad you like it. To be honest, I never expected such positive feedback as I am getting here...

I have not managed to get around installing the donate button. I guess I will try to set it up when I post the next update. Right now I am still trying to get the envelopes right. They are still a bit too long, and also the filter is a bit too open. I hope that I will have the next version ready some time next week.

such 10 banks before I'm getting to make this whole pack.

But I have a favour to ask you to put some more sounds of the
original-factory bank to the finalversion. So I like to have my
favorite sounds at that time like "Res Bell; Strings II; Poly Brass;
Bubbles". Thanks.
