Kairatune sounds great but I think I found a bug. Using Ableton Live 8.2.5, everytime I freeze, flatten, export audio, or render, I get a pop up that says an error has been encountered and the program must close. So basically these procedures cause Live to crash. Hope this can be fixed.

I'm not able to reproduce this bug. Lucky i have 14 days left on my Ableton Live 8.2.6 demo. :) Could you please try the latest version of Ableton Live and see if you can still see this bug? Is your system 32 or 64-bit?

hmmmn :? well, I copy/pasted the first one, and re-sent. It claims I sent
the first one to myself, but it's odd I did not receive it and discover such a blunder :?

You must hurry! I think i've been seeing suspicious looking men in black suits inspecting my garbage. :-o
This works in my wine setup, and the sounds are marvelous.
Thanks! I'm really glad to hear this.
I can see that having a numeric values display on key features, would be a great asset, and a held key-press to invoke extra precision on some controls would help the preset designers that will likely flock to Kaira, to achieve the maximum sonic greatness. Gotta go, I hear a nervous wind blowing...
I'm sorry but i don't understand what you mean by having numeric values on key features? About modifier keys, just for the record: CTRL-click restores the default value on controls. Holding SHIFT while editing changes editing mode. Usually adding precision with a couple of exceptions. The tooltips are meant to explain this.

Hey mfa

I'm running 32 bit. I have the Live 8.2.6 update but haven't decided whether to install. Maybe someone else will have the same problem. I'm going to test this in Cubase to see what happens.

Im on 8.2.6 and just tried freeze, flatten, and export, and they all worked fine here

...looking for remainders of poly mod and cpu consumption :hihi:

Hi, on some instruments, when a knob is turned, a little panel exists or appears showing the numeric value of the location, between 0 and 127, or whatever range is available.
It's easy to remember that 99 was good for this, and 30 was good for that, and for fine de-tuning, etc.
ZebraCM has a status bar in the middle of the gui, which dispays values as you adjust things, in case you have it and can take a look. Sounds like you have the
shift-key-for-precision already working! 8)
Cheers

We're talking about Kairatune right? There's supposed to be some reasonable value displayed for each control.

I thought about this a lot when i was designing the GUI and thought about all of those really nice looking GUI's that do not display the number, or display it on a popup or something like that. I ended up showing all of the numbers, and it wasn't a tough call.

Every number is visible. It is just different from what people used to see, but IMO - it is great :tu:

:drunk:
I feel synced all the time :hihi:

Now, the annoyance
Sync on/off doesn't give us the closest values - it resets the values. IMO it should not work like that - and I guess those ms/lengths/bts can be recalculated using the host tempo, to give us at least the closest possible value.
Or maybe to stay where they were, even if they're "incorrect"?
Even that will be better than this, I think.

:dog: you must think I'm a total :nutter: I'm sure I stared at the screen while
being dazzled by the sounds and thought, gee, numbers would be nice...
Did the wife slip me some meds? $300 is missing from the wallet :bang:
Yes, I'll blame it on meds, 6-day work weeks, and being distracted by the great sounds,
was that a theremin I heard while doing pitchbend leads in the upper octaves on the 'sweeping threat bass' patch? :o

Oh, :D that happens to me all the time. And no, that would be the angel you heard. Every copy comes packed with one. Can you imagine how difficult those are to get these days... and they want polyphony.
