One man continually bumping the same, inactive thread, does not a petition make.MadmanST wrote:[bumppp]

I'm not sure what site policy on bumping is. But it's a problem that I keep getting updates on a topic I'm interested in following, only to find it's just you bumping an otherwise dead thread yet again.MadmanST wrote:As long as we're getting signatures, I'll keep bumping.
Is that a problem?

I guess I'll just stop watching this topic then.MadmanST wrote:The topic is the petition.
If you would like to start another thread about breath/windcontrollers I'm all for it. The more threads the better.

If you want it so hard, you'd better make yourself one with Arduino and pressure sensor, Madman, like I did. Arduino have an affordable price and it's really that easy to make a custom midi breath controller for yourself.

TEControl and MRTaudio both have some nice replacements for breath controllers. Have you thought about making a windcontroller, seems Yamaha gave up on those too.

This has probably been already mention somewhere in this thread, but it is just a ribbon-pressure switch). I had a couple of them. Always liked the idea and was able to use them pretty well. But I'm glad their gone now. There were 'design problems' like the cord being too short and basically tethering you too close to the board. My first one had no way to effectively keep it in your mouth because of the taper of it, the second one added a 'tooth ridge' which turned out to be pointless and strapping it around the back of your head was a pin too unless your bald and don't mind taping the string to the top of your neck. For how much you actually end up using it, good riddance... And I just don't have the wind for them anymore either.
btw, you can do anything you could do with the bc with the x-y strip and more. (And if you can't, then go practice).
