Since buying Live 2 back in the day, I've bought every upgrade bar one, and never paid that for the core programme upgrade. The only time I have paid that amount was if I was also buying add on products at the same time, for example when Operator first came out, and later when I upgraded to the Suite.
Just checking in my business accounts, I see the last basic upgrade fee I paid for a full version upgrade was £55.
I don't see the value in making up stuff about their pricing that isn't true
To answer your question, I can personally think of loads of stuff I would quite like them to add or improve. but if you're happy with Live 8.4 as it is, then good for you - you won't need to pay them an upgrade fee.
