The FX version is one of the best guitar apps around.
And fx often work across instrument ranges.
The large number of synth sounds, trending to certain styles,
are still available, and the gui makes it easy to modify them
for other styles.
There are some LOUD ones, so test with the volume lower than normal.
Cheers

Cool :)

But in addition to serial number, you also need the installation file I think?
I know, that it's toooo hard to download it from Cakewalk website... :hihi:

You still need the serial number for that to work

EDIT: Whoops, ok I got it now. :)

I actually already have it as I have Sonar Producer, but thanks for the info

Is it that good ( = better than Helix or Zebra) ?
Zebra = $199
Helix = $149
z3TA+ = zilch

What do you think? :wink:
Ah ah !
Yes, obviously, the price/features ratio makes it very worthy indeed.
I meant that because i already have Zebra & Helix, and was wondering if i would get a lot of excitement and thrill by trying Zeta...

You get a lot more than you pay for, is my impression :wink:

z3TA+ -> pay nothing, get a fantastic instrument, wasn't that what I said? :D

Everything is relative of course, compared to Zebra and Helix it might be lacking, but it is still a fun synth :tu:

That would be the best synth I have ever purchased for 20 bucks. :roll:

Already got Rhino CM, that will have to do for now.

Picked up Freehand Pro for $10, which is a great synth, so it shows bargains can be found :wink:
Good choice. I recently bought Freehand Pro myself, it has quickly become one of my favorites :) It sounds pretty good, little aliasing. But it is my first synth where one can draw waveforms, so there is still a lot of trial and error on my part, I still have to figure out which sound change is brought about by which waveform detail. But thanks to that capability it is very flexible :)

If I understood the developer correctly, he is working on an update :) But for that ridiculous price I can't think of much to improve, frankly. Maybe sound improvements, who knows. The 24db filter does not sound as good as the 12db one, sounds as if there is always some resonance on it, dunno...

I got z3ta+ for 7$ (price of a Beat magazine), and upgraded it to z3ta+ 2 for 29$ using the Cakewalk coupon.

To sum this up, i got z3ta+ 2 for 36$ - one of the best bergains of humanity :hihi:

If you do not already have a synth in the leagues of the Zebra, DIVA, Alchemy, Dimension Pro, Zeta+ 2, Massive, Synthmaster, Omnisphere, Reaktor, etc. Then I highly recommend saving your money, because those small $20 here and $20 there synths add up... and you could get a hell of a lot more power, clarity, professionalism.

my .02 cents

Could you tell which coupon ?
It shows up as 39€ here, so it is nearly twice the price...

I dunno really, I see many users complaining about complexity of plugins too.

I think a good musician will get a better result with a cheap plug, than a bad musician with an expensive plugin ;)

z3ta+ came free with Beat Magazine, it is the mag that cost $7 ;)

For a time one could get z3ta+ for free as well, without having to buy the mag at all, but I think Beat ran out of registration codes...
