Your comment "you've really turned this personal" is pretty odd considering you've called me an idiot a couple of times before I posted this and you attacked someone in this thread. You have been a poster child for bad behavior and it should be called out. You don't have to agree with me or anyone else when we post things, in fact, go ahead and disagree, but it is ridiculous and without merit when you claim you understand someone's underlying motivations. Your logic is flawed. I told you the reason why I did this thread -- believe it or not. I have no underlying desire to hurt Sonic Implants, my desire was to help consumers and influence Sonic Implants to adjust their current practices (which, I am confident, in the long run, will result in more long term customers for them). You can find a number of small developers on this board that I provide marketing help to for free -- including Ben from Camel Audio. If you think $75 would cause me to spend this time, I can tell you it wouldn't. If you notice, I publicly apologized to Sonic Implants because I took Mr Fox at his word about the MP3s. I even stated, if they adjusted their practices (simply by stating things before the sale on their website), I will gladly pay them $75.
Disagree with me and say, "I don't believe that is all there is to it." But you cannot tell me that you understand my underlying motivations. This is absurd.
By the way, in relation to your offensive post concerning Greek women, I did realize that you are Greek from your post, however, I did not realize you are a Greek woman. I understand that some people may find that joke funny, but if anyone cares about making this community KVR friendly for female members, your post has a real potential to offend; I do understand that it's crude humor -- it's not really very funny, but based on insulting, demeaning stereotypes (it's only funny if you believe there's truth to the stereotype and take away any sense of sensitivity to the party being mocked).
End of story. Let's stop here. I hope we can have better conversations in the future.

To sonic implants: If you would have been more clear when it comes to the demos and writing about the differences about the different formats - this would probably never have happened.
You say that all formats but giga are loaded into ram. Let the customer deside what to load, give them all the samples. And as Ixox said, sfz+ does stream soundfonts and so does most other players for the formats.

It was still before we knew about the demos. I admit it was silly of me. But in some ways true. You have been ripped off (read the dashthing) and you did put a after your statement.
It wasnt until the person from SI told us the truth about the demos we knew about the fact that is was sf2 making it. It was really wrong of me to assume that it was GIGA, i apologize to SI therefore. But for the time of THAT discussion it was the fact. No one argued about the possibility of demos being made of sf2. Again, DevonB, tried to defend this. He didnt know that they were maid of sf2. I wonder if SI would have thought that it was the right thing to do. Defending a missleading that is.
I am in no way sorry that this thread made it to five pages until SI answered. I believe this was the reason why their reply was so clear.
