Yes, Studio One has Melodyne built in. Think what you could do with upgrade to Melodyne editor. It is different, but much more precise, I would say.softska wrote:Problem is other DAWs actually DID. Logic certain does both drums to midi and pitched audio to midi, just hardly usable. I'm seriously hoping for something that's a lot better built-into rather and skip a plugin.wasi wrote: Well, it is usable and it's not like any other DAW has anything like it.Le sadBut I hate that there are no sensitivity sliders, no real control. I feel a lot could be improved if you could tell the app where to look. But that seems to be what Ableton is going for, that whole Apple 'it just works' idea where the UI sort of insulates the user from the application. I also have no other application with so few 'options' to set.
I tried possibly the easiest piano piece and Ableton did screw it up. Melody and slice modes are OK -- percussion -- OK. But harmony mode is just...
It's all about the wavelets. I dream of the perfect additive synthesis.

OMFG, it is trickling out of their servers.
On any other day I'd have 655MB downloaded in about 5 minutes - nice fat fiber connection.
Today? Well, 9 hours left according to my DL manager.

To be expected I guess.

Did anyone see their estimate delivery time for push jump from 2-4 weeks to 12-16 weeks. This change has happened to me several hours after my order. I'm not a very happy customer right now...
On the other hand, I'm currently downloading ableton live 9 and the speed is slow, but reasonable for a launch day.

Sorry to hear that... but thanks for posting... I am now not buying Push until it is out. No way I want them to have my money for 4 months before I get the goods!Ooops wrote:Did anyone see their estimate delivery time for push jump from 2-4 weeks to 12-16 weeks. In all fairness, they only bill your card for Push once the product is shipping. But, it's till dishonest to lure customers with a fast delivery time. Because if I now decide to cancel my pre-order, I lose my discount for the combined order of Live 9 and Push.pdxindy wrote:Sorry to hear that... but thanks for posting... I think they only up'd the shipping time, after all
short term pushs were sold
so maybe you belong to the lucky ones that will recieve it fast
I really would contact ableton before cancellation
