Ah great - when you're done, could you send the picture to me so I can get free stuff too?

Oh wait - yeah it doesn't work like that... :ud:

I have two of the original Korg nano controllers, but I don't think they would be eligible for this, not that I relish the thought of downloading a 25GB product anyway... (!)

Synsations is "only" a 9GB download fortunately, and unpacked the ufs file is about 9,5GB in size.

The 25GB must be when the audio inside the ufs file is unpacked, for marketing reasons I guess UVI want it to sound as big as possible ;)

Don't forget Reason Limited, that is not far away from being Reason Essentials. You get the full NN-XT sampler and Subtractor synth, so there is a lot of fun to be had with that also :tu:

Does anyone know if this deal is available with the NanoKontrol or the NanoPad? I have an old, old, old NanoKey so presume I don't qualify through that. But looking at the NanoKontrol and it could come in handy in my setup somewhere and the UVI/Reason stuff seems like a really cool bonus.

Cheers!

I don't think Nano's v1 qualifies, but Nano's v2 does qualify:

Apologies, I should've been clearer. As I already have a v1 Nanokey, I'm not really needing a v2 Nanokey. So I was wondering if anyone knew specifically about NanoKontrol or NanoPad v2's? I presume that they are but was hoping maybe someone knew for sure.

Thanks again!

Interesting how opinions differ; I had a LPK25 for a while and hated it. I'm not a great keyboard player anyway but found it really infuriating to play, kept catching the black keys. Whereas, I love the nanokey2. Maybe because I'm more used to tapping my laptops keys, NK2 has a very similar feel and 'resistance', just suits me better. Feel it's a better ergonomic choice than trying to shrink a conventional keyboard.

The keys do clack like hell though. :)

Must agree, always wary of the ilok scare stories but installed it a while back for the Mello freebie (ace!) and haven't had any trouble. Performance not hindered so... As I said, less hassle than the NI service centre... :)

Only downer is that it doesn't apply to older UVi products. I got UVI Synth Anthology, and that licence I can only keep on the iLok, can't put it on my PC.

My favourite is the M-Audio Keystation Mini 32, small, nice and responsive keys, and it's got a KNOB :D

I have Synth Anthology and license manager shows that it can be moved between PC and dongle... I guess that flexibility didn't extend to pre-existing licenses, but I don't see why they can't just upgrade all the old licenses to give those users the same capability as new users... a bit unfair, don't you think?
You need to limit that rez, bro.

It's not a major hassle for me to use the iLok, but thanks for this info.

I think I will contact UVI support and ask them if this can't be done.

Thank you for letting us know about the inclusion of Synstations in the Korg bundle! Downloaded and registered . . . .

I have the LPK25, Nanokey and MicroKey 61 and greatly prefer the feel of the MicroKey the best. The Nanokey is good for traveling because there is not a lot of play in the keys, so I don't worry so much about it being crushed in my backpack. The feel of hte LPK25 keys is the worst, IMHO - too springy and toylike.

At the moment i got an eLicenser dongle, an iLok 2 dongle and all plugins of Tone2 installed. For some of the more "paranoid" people here at KVR this combination must be a nightmare...

First of all, it's not paranoia if you ever had these fail on you before and were set back on schedule because of it (and I was on both systems). Still, the second problem is the idea of PACE specifically using system resources to continuously run in the background to assuage THEIR paranoia. However minor the usage is, it takes a great deal of paranoia to operate in this way and effect everything else while it's doing it.
Now I haven't noticed the same type of use in the eLicense and anything that doesn't require a dongle on top of that I would consider. Although Cubase is the one company that 'dropped the ball' on me and never got me back up and running. Since I talked to them at NAMM they did acknowledge they dropped the ball and gave me a direct line to get in fixed... great, only a year and a half later.
I've since felt compelled to move down to Sonar and unfortunately that means not using Cubase for a long time, if ever again.

Back OT; I did log in my old PIN (which I copy onto note pads and save on my computers) and it did in fact have the extra titles. (I bought the NanoPad just over a year ago or so.)
Created new accounts (at both iLok & UVI) and downloaded the 9.3GB just so I'll have it.
Chances are though, I won't install it because of the PACE (But maybe they'll get a clue to THEIR paranoia and rewrite the software to be completely unobtrusive someday?) Because I have two editors which also use this 'paranoid protection' system, I've been looking at a second computer to run only the software that requires it. Since they feel the system should be dedicated to them at all times anyway...
