Also, like I said, we didn't know exactly how big the risk was. At the time it was unclear and thus we closed it down as a pre-emptive security effort.

Since there is no big risk right right now, it's rather a question about how we bring back the forums. Like I said we're running an old version of vBulletin and this might even be a good opportunity to do some changes. This is not yet decided though so I'm afraid I can't really say more than that—I simply don't know more than that.

Well they did mention they want to stop all the spam. Don't think anyone would object to that.

I personally know of a few vbulletin forums that have been hacked, and are currently offline. In at least one case the hackers set themselves up as admins.

Why all the dumb conspiracy theories? What exactly would propellerheads gain from shutting their forums down?

Jesus, this place is strange...people just create stuff to argue about, out of thin air.

i do however know that you are easy to wind up, and maybe this makes you a target. id rather that didnt happen, not just to you, to anyone.

as for you destroying kvr, thats bollocks. youre a guy who is passionate, some might say too passionate on occassions, but your heart is usually in the right place. otherwise dont you think youd have been perma banned?

i know its hard, but ignore them, its not worth getting yourself banned for.
