thanks for your reply. I wish I had thought to try it out in another host before writing my post. I am pretty slammed today, but I'll check it out in Ableton and Garageband and see how it does in those. will get back to you.thelizard wrote:That's very unusual. We got a similar report from a Mavericks user with Logic Pro X. They're using a 2007 Macbook Pro with a Core 2 Duo processor.michael2 wrote:it's really cool, but acting buggy as hell on Logic 9 running in Mavericks. i can't hit the space bar to return to the beginning of the track, the knobs on Sandman and the drop downs for the LFOs won't turn while the plug is running, and if i turn up the feedback it makes Logic completely unresponsive. I had to force quit. tried it again and same thing. took the plug out of the channel strip and Logic worked perfectly again.
I tried a couple of the presets out and the more intensive ones also froze everything up. A friend just bought it as well, so I'll see if he's having any problems.
Is it occurring in other hosts or is it only Logic? Also, does this happen with the interface closed, or only when open?
I haven't heard back from the other customer. If you can shoot us an e-mail at contact [at] unfilteredaudio, that will help for our records.
In the meantime, if anyone else experiences the same problem, please e-mail us! I'll check to see if there's some weird optimization incompatibility on older processors.

Cool, thanks! We've also gotten reports of the interface slowing down the meters in Ableton. We've figured out what's causing that and will be figuring out a fix. In the meantime, let me know how it performs in your other hosts!michael2 wrote:thanks for your reply. I wish I had thought to try it out in another host before writing my post. My thought is that it's not Mavericks related, since I developed Sandman on Mavericks and only switched to Yosemite at the very, very end of development. Both of the really nasty Logic performance bugs were on Core 2 Duo processors. If someone else with a Core 2 Duo processor could download the demo and let me know what happens, I would really appreciate it!

I got a response from the other user, and the slow-down only occurs with the modulation panel open. If this is the same problem on your computer, then I will have a fix within the next day or two. The bug is caused by not putting a frame rate limiter on the LFO lamp animation, causing the animation to request too much priority on the graphics thread. This is the same bug that is causing Ableton metering lag when the panel is open. I apologize for this annoying bug!thelizard wrote:Cool, thanks! I'm impressed. You've got a very simple, easy to use plugin here, but somehow it's really able to reach far into new and interesting territory for me. And such an amazing price too. My plan is to load a jpg in my DAW of a more expensive delay so Elton John will never know.
Good job!
Good job!

Be warned. Elton his known to over-react from time to time.Aiynzahev wrote:My plan is to load a jpg in my DAW of a more expensive delay so Elton John will never know.

Which .dll is missing? Is it MSVCR?Rah wrote:Hmm, my demo copy won't install, something about a missing .dll

Does this error occur during installation, or when you attempt to run the plug-in?

My bad, managed to install it. I just had to run it in administrator mode.

Ah! For some reason, I had the 64-bit installer request "admin" and the 32-bit installer request "user".Rah wrote:My bad, managed to install it. I just had to run it in administrator mode.
I'll push some new demo installers shortly.
EDIT: New 32-bit demo installers have been posted.

Hi everyone,
I have posted Windows Demo 1.0.1 installers. The 32-bit installers were still slightly broken. They now install MSVCR properly.
In addition to the dependency installation now working correctly, I've optimized the graphics more. There's still room for improvement, but this is more of a hotfix.
The release installers will be available on your accounts tomorrow. I'll post here once those are up. I apologize for the difficulties that some of you have been facing!
