If you're not an Arturia customer yet and if you don't already have your own collection of classic synth and keyboard VST instruments from other developers such as Native Instruments and Gforce, then the V Collection is a great, very complete and affordable bundle. But in my case if you're interested in only a couple of their VST instruments, then it can become a bit pricey. In my case that would be the Mellotron V (€149 by the time the Ensoniq would be released), the CMI (also €149) and the Ensoniq (€99 introduction price). I'm crazy about those delicious looking GUIs, but I'd rather spend way less money on effect plugins that would give me a similar sound.
