I still believe they could peice their synth a bit more competitively given the current market and its feature set.xanderevo wrote:Asked for a refund, the sound is great but there are better competitors for what strobe2 has to offer.
I thought the upgrade was for the complete bundle, disappointed.

Will Strobe 2 and the upgrade price be available on Sweetwater soon? They wrote and told me they'd be checking on it, and I know quite a few folks whom would buy it off there in a freakin' heartbeat.Angus_FX wrote:URL, qtherearranger..?

@ Apostate - yes, I expect so. Would be very surprised if the full version at least isn't available there within a week or 2.

That's great, but I would like to put a vote in for the upgrade, please. I'm a first day buyer whenever that might show up, and I know some others who feel the same way. The Reaktor 6 upgrade unfortunately came out before Strobe 2, so for some folks finances got a little tighter.Angus_FX wrote:@ Apostate - yes, I expect so. Either way I'm buying this badass synth. It sounds terrific, and I'm getting used to the Fusoresque "fusion" real quick.
Ha ha suck it!

Not our call as such - if they order it, we'll supply it.

Already purchased. Can we please see the rough draft of the eye candy that is cypher 2?

Here you go patchhunter. Please don't take this screenshot as a commitment to implementing any of the specific features you might see on it! Lots of details wrong in this one, but as you asked for a rough draft, so be it

Nice! It seems it's not at a very early stage. Something we can expect end of this year or 2016?Angus_FX wrote:Here you go patchhunter. Btw, is there some chance to add 2 additional knobs besides unison for spread and detune so it doesn't need the transmod system?

I'd say fairly early 2016, but not this year. There's more work to do than meets the eye, and there are a few loose ends to tidy up with Strobe2 still as well.
In this prototype, osc1 has 2-knob unison supersaw (like Strobe). Can't promise anything - what you want I guess is to automatically set a patch to unison-2 or unison-3, with unison voice modulation applied to pan and finetune?Btw, is there some chance to add 2 additional knobs besides unison for spread and detune so it doesn't need the transmod system?
