Yeah I filed that bug during beta. It'll be sorted out. For the time being, just create your favourites from Devices, not Places. You can also manually edit the path in registry if you feel adventurous :)

Just purchased it from Sweetwater.
Still waiting for the 'Download link' to be emailed.

Someone mentioned a $100 voucher from UVI upon purchase ?
Details?

Buy directly with UVI !! is the best way to get it, receipts, links , everything immediately , customer service is great, I really hate the ilok process, but we need to live with that. ilok really sucks, but is the price to have freakin software piracy all over the web, goodbye

"Favorite places" I've added in previous sessions show up as unclickable icons that cannot be deleted.

I'm using OSX 10.10, v1.0.0. x64 of Falcon.
Just reported the same bug, if you go to the non tree browser at the top you can right click and remove them, I got them by adding folders into "places" from within places. Also will happen if folder does not exist anymore.
Thanks, I have the same problem on Windows and I guess I added the place from places...

Shift + click in the inlined treeview browser.
You can do that from the system Finder/Explorer as well

Regarding the Favorite thingy, will check on Monday.

edit: nice typo fixed :)

Hang on is this the same issue I have had with MachFive places? I also have places I setup for my old HD that broke and now can't delete and clicking on them does nothing. Also tried every combination of keys to get rid of the things, to make maters worse I can't even add a new favourite to a folder with the same name on the new drive because the old broken one is there.

Post

You can edit/remove the erroneous path directly by editing registry/plist.

On Windows, it's HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\net.uvi\Falcon, Folders key.

Post

The non-broken links in places can be removed by rightclick.
The broken links (created from places) can be removed when you first select the broken location via the three horizontal lines-icon browser dropdown on top. Once there (empty window) you can right-click on the three horizontal lines and get the remove option.
At least thats how it worked on Windows 8.1 for me.

Tom

I might end up doing that. It would appear that Sweetwater doesn't process orders on Sundays.
Wonder if I can cancel my order with Sweetwater.
Wonder if UVI will process an order today.

While I was waiting .... I tried to connect to http://www.ilok.com. I can't.
For some reason all that I get is a spinning little red thing on the top right of an otherwise blank page.
Just when I thought that I was through with having to deal with iLk dongles ...... now this.

Someone care to test the link and let me know?

I bought Falcon and have question. There are some samples in Granular osc in patches, where I find this samples?

Post

You cannot use them elsewhere - they are protected and packed within Falcon Factory.ufs monolith file.

They are embedded in ufs file, you can only edit an existing patch and re-save it, but you can't load those samples directly.
