Yeah, because you look so much more mature and accomplished in music than some Reason users, which include from the Beastie Boys and Black Eyed Peas to Liam Howlett, Luke Vibert, Stromae, Claude VonStroke and more, selling tens of millions of albums between them...

Lots of people use reason - it's a tool - actually only as good as you are at using it

Lots'a tools out there, it's just one of them...

I liked Reason a lot more prior to 6.5. They really overcomplicated things when they merged Record into Reason and now I can't stand the interface. Plus with RE's, I'm totally off the Reason ship because it became more about extorting their customer base than to provide great tools for making music. It's a shame because I use to use Reason quite a bit in a lot of my projects up till 6.5 came out. Felt really sore after updating and never went back.

It seems like they decided to stop updating reason and only focus on RE related updates? I'd like to see Reaon updates. Sequencer/piano roll and so on. And a real ezdrummer, BFD and Addictive Drums alternative.. Since we won't be seeing anything like it in a RE anytime soon.

Drag midi to current track is such an obvious workflow enhancement to be working on since version 6. The fact that stuff like That is not being add is partial proof of them not focusing on reason but instead focusing on RE's.

What would be nice is the option of totally bypassing / removing that big 'ol mixer and just use the other mixers like in the old days... that would be great!

I agree to this to a point. But it's sort of like saying "why would you want to use a lawnmower to mow your lawn when you can just get creative with it and use scissors."

The question is, did he mean "Lol, people use Reason", or "Lol people, use reason".

Always difficult to say when there's a lack of grammar, and punctuation marks. "We eat, grandpa" vs. "We eat grandpa"
