Wow this thread really got smashed off the rails and turned in to nonsense then uh, No email here, but that advert just makes me think that the marketing department do just as half ass a job as anybody else at presonus, as a company they show glimpses here and there of doing something special (hard and software) but rarely push far enough to make me personally go "wow" S1 is no different in that regard, and if they are so insecure that they have to go after a DAW that doesn't even advertise anywhere, they must be in real trouble in terms of uptake

If we like the marketing we buy the product, that's how this works. Talking about self-entitlement and mean-spiritedness when we don't agree with every move a company makes is absurd twisting of the reality of commerce.

I'm still seeing an error and dialog mentioning an error log was created when I enable/disable the plugin via S1's bypass button. Can anyone try this and see if it causes you any issues? For now on I'll be using the bypass buttons for the modules inside the plugin instead, not the end of the world but I'm wondering if there is a permissions issue. I'll be sending the dump to Presonus.
Oh, I do believe you need to expand the controls for the plugin within the console. I just loaded a new project, added the plugin, bypass worked fine, then I expanded the plugin in the console, then clicked bypass, I received the error.

Company A goes after company B's customers shocker.
Butt hurt causes ripples in the force. The end is nigh.
These are not the daws you are looking for

Where did you find this ad? I can't find it in their website or facebook.baaz wrote:Meanwhile presonus is telling people to get rid of reaper lol check the attached image.. what sort of marketing is that supposed to be...
I've got the 30% email from Presonus, the image is exactly the same but without the Reaper thing!
Anyway, if it is true, then it is a very stupid move by Presonus marketing and I really can't believe any marketing department is doing this!
I have both S1 pro and Reaper. I like both of them even though S1 is my main DAW. Anyway, I didn't participate in this gearfest, so I don't have the channel strip

It looks like a sponsored Facebook ad. Who knows, it could be one intern with a bad idea.
