if you make dubstep in 2017 though, you're probably working on a jingle for a daytime TV commercial. :D

WHY NOT???
Just joking. Dubstep I found interesting was pre-Skrillex.
There was dubstep before Skrillex???

Dubstep really developed in a strange way, when you take a look at its roots. :P

I bought Sylenth today for a number of reasons, even though I own more recent and more powerful synths.

It still sounds great.
It is really easy to program useful sounds.
It plays nicely with others like Hive and Serum.

When I tried it by itself I was not that impressed, but when I put it on some tracks I was already working on it added a really nice old school vibe.

What's dubstep? 8) All those modern genres, they are a maze to me...

Big beats and a lot of loud, aggressive, and strangely satisfying noises.

Dubstep started in the 90's as quite a soft (and rather pleasing, if you ask me) spin-off from Dub, Ragga and hip hop. I liked it.

Oh, wow, that's way too "excited" for my taste :hihi:
And S1 is suitable for that genre?

Would be interesting to know how many licenses LD sold during the sale :)

Ow, i think s1 could be used for some lead lines, or drum percussion in dubstep. But i dont think it is the most 'efficient' way

If i had to guess, then i would say less than expected. Especially with sales for Spire, Diversion, and Dune 2 at the same time. Don't get me wrong, i'm sure a lot of people who always planned to do so, got it in this sale. But, the way i kept thinking it over and over again, I'd imagine it to be the same for many who considered one of these plugins.

Got Arksun banks for Diva and Sylenth.
