Maybe when you bought it at Best Service? Tone2 definitely handled my Electra2 upgrade themselves.W23 wrote:Yeah that's a funny thing with Best Service. Obviously Tone2 will do technical support for any synth of theirs that you own, and they are the guys who give you the key file but, Best Service handles updates and upgrades

Yeah that's who I bought it through. I suppose that is their arrangement with Tone2chk071 wrote: Maybe when you bought it at Best Service? Tone2 definitely handled my Electra2 upgrade themselves.

It's just the cost of Tone2 synths. They can be somewhat costly over time if you buy in.fmr wrote:Yep, and as with Saurus, I will remain at v1...exmatproton wrote: We are all willing to pay for a good update. But (after trying the demo) this isn't worthy any money (IMHO) for Rayblaster owners. These enhancements/changes should've been introduced in the original RB. Instead, they just left RB with only truly little updates.....should've seen this coming, i guess. Saurus all over again.
Diva has been out for 5 years now... and in that time has received 3 updates of significance. All of them free. U-he synths are a really good deal over time. Zebra has received at least 3 full paid upgrades worth of improvements since I purchased it years ago and I have not had to pay any additional money.
I don't mind different companies doing things different ways, and paying some money is fine with me (hell, sometimes I think u-he should charge more!), but I wish Tone2 did not have this approach of combining some features with a sound expansion and charging premium for it. I have no interest in the soundset and would not want to pay for it. Take away the presets, and it is certainly not a $60-80 paid upgrade.
I have Icarus... but if this sort of upgrade is in the works for Icarus, I'll get off the train.

Surprised that there has been so small talk about this synth here. Flop? Frankly, the architecture never really ticked with me, too unusual. As HcDoom stated, i'm not very impressed by the factory sounds too. But then, Markus seems to have sort of a foible for unusual sounds.
Oh, BTW, this thing can model engine sounds!

I love the sound of Rayblaster 2. It is one of my favorite sounding synths. It sounds very creamy and thorough. Just like Nemesis which IS my favorite sounding synth. Tone2 has very rich sounding synths and that means a lot to my ears.

In support offer to upgrade Rayblaster2, i not have x64 version, because i before work in Windows XP x86.
In my new Windows 10 x64 some plugins work incorrectly.

Does anyone know how to resize the gui? It says there's an option b/t 4 sizes in the 'setup' (which I'm assuming means the installer) but I see no such option. It takes up the entire screen which is not optimal for how I like to use softsynths & I don't see any hidden options tab anywhere on the synth itself.
-edit- on Windows 10
-edit #2- nevermind, I'm a moron it's in the upper right menus with the fx and so forth. What a weird fun synth I like it so far.
