I have problem loading presets in last 2.9.10 version,not sure what kind of problem is cause start to rewrite older ones and after saving sm do not recognize new preset and bank.
Cakewalk September issue had problem with stability,just download december version and will try again,may not be sm problem at all,never had such a problem with sm so far,last 2.9.9 was so stable and reliable...

Synthmaster 2.9.10 presets load smoothly here, both factory and expansions. Also can save a patch in the user bank and recall it OK.

Using December Cakewalk (2021.12) with SM 2.9.10, was able to create and save a new project, and reopen it OK. Then tried opening and saving a few projects created with SM 2.9.8 back some 5 years ago. Still open with current Cakewalk and SM 2.9.10 and save OK.

All seems stable here.

yep i suspect some bugs in my system or rewriting old sm files in some cases cause problems - will reinstall again so to fix it.
I wonder is there any pictures of GUI of SM3,curious how it will looks...

Hopefully, something like a combination of SynthMaster One and Hive 2. With a dash of Dune 3 tossed in.

Please include NI NKS support for version 3. It’s so nice to be able to scroll through presets without using the QWERTY or mouse.

When uninstall it show me version 2.9.9 as installment,may overwrite some files,usually do clean installation and don't have such problems.
For sure cakewalk cause many problems,will do new 2022 installation of both and will send video if can't find solution.
Sorry for not participating again with song competitor this year,had interesting idea for it, but final composition and mix wasn't satisfying enough.

Can’t get SM2 to show as a VST2 in Ableton. It is there in my plugin folder. (Ableton beta). Any ideas? AU is fine. I did post this in the kv331 group too.

i believe the developer has stated that the SM2 and SMOne presets can be loaded into separate layers in SM3. He plans to make up to 16 layers available.

My understanding is that one of the big development delays has been the need to align the underlying synth engines for each synth into a common framework for compatibility in SM3, and that part is now complete. Moving forward soon I hope!

"that" part has not started yet. I'm still in the process of new algorithm development:

1. Direct disk streaming (done)
2. Pitch detection/spectral analysis/spectral envelope extraction (in progress, monophonic pitch detection is almost working)
3. Granular synthesis (in progress, hoping to finish at the end of August)

Thank you for your patience guys. SynthMaster 3 will be a huge step forward for us, when it is done. But I'm still at the beginning of the development cycle. Hopefuly 1st quarter of 2023 we'll have an alpha/beta.
