why? isn't DGillespie the developer? seems like he could help you with any problems or questions you have. i'm guessing your email will just get forwarded to him from eventide.DCrown wrote: Wed Jul 07, 2021 9:17 pm Btw I have sent audio file and all information to Eventide to analyze the issue. But I won't let you know the result!

The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

THAT is your reply directly below a much too nice and fairly extensive answer from the developer himself?
That says more about you than anything else you could ever write.
edit: well, re-reading his posts here in this thread makes me think he might indeed be somewhat challenged, so perhaps we should be easy on him...

Pull out the popcorn, bets on how long this troll will stay here are open…DCrown wrote: Wed Jul 07, 2021 9:13 pm Oh my god, you seem all to be old farts swooping down on a kvr newbie like vultures. Keep on having fun in your club, but without me:) so you have to find some new victim haha
Btw. If there are aliasing artefacts in the 0-60 hz range you will have way more in the higher registers. If there are artefacts just there its not aliasing but something else…

We sorted it out, it wasn't aliasing, it was the type of intermodulation distortion artifacts that all limiters can produce. You can reduce them by slowing down the SPEED control. (Or the attack/release time in any limiter/compressor.)

didnt think it would be "aliasing" down there at the low end.
and cant hear anything in it that as you say, you dont get with other limiters.
theres always going to be some "artifacts/colour" if its doing anything to the audio.

I think it was just a case of being under the gun to get a project done and coming in a little hot. No harm no foul.

Hi, I wanted to let everybody know about the update to the Elevate bundle:
Saturate 1.10
New ANTI-ALIASING mode adds oversampling and removes aliasing when used on harmonic material.
New SYMMETRY control introduces asymmetrical saturation which adds pleasing sounding even harmonics.
New CEILING control allows you to adjust the level of clipping.
In addition, new presets have been added to the Generate synth (not in the mastering bundle).
In support of the update all plug-ins will be 50% off through 5/31/22.

Another sale and another Eventide upgrade that I don't really need but will probably get anyways. Just like last month.
The good news is you guys can only get another $40 out of me until you release something new!
