Wow this is fantastic, i like the color highliting of the parameters for each stage.
I was reading the GRM Tools evolution manual, it has a periodic sample feature wich samples the input signal at every X time interval to allow real time playing.
Maybe another way of doing the real time playing is to have several (two or three) "capture" samplers, one captures while the other one plays and so on with some sort of crossfading between them.

1.0.0 is out, download links in https://xenakios.wordpress.com/paulxstretch-plugin/
02-09-2018 1.0.0
-Control/Command click on waveform seeks (if click within active play range)
-Moved prebuffering amount menu to prebuffering meter (click to show)
-Added dummy parameter to tell the host the plugin state has changed when importing files etc.
(May not work properly for undo etc on all hosts.)
-Removed the factory presets as they are not really that useful

Hi Xenakios.
I've just started using the plugin & loving it, good work!
I had a feature suggestion (unless it exists already & I'm missing something?).....
After setting a range using the 'sound start' & 'sound end' parameters (or selecting with the mouse) it would be amazing if you had another parameter to move that range/selection around the audio file (& also automate it in the host DAW)
Thanks, best.... P.

Hi,
The plugin reports only 2 input channels in Reaper : is this normal ?
It outputs 8 channels and can import correctly a 8 channels file.
BTW : could it support more ?
Thanks !

The 2 inputs limit was put in on purpose but I can see if I can allow more without things messing up in other hosts. edit : Like I was afraid of would happen, if I increase the input channels to 8, the plugin operates with 8 inputs by default in Plogue Bidule and Ableton Live. (Especially in Live that isn't so great since it doesn't really support more than 2 channel operation anyway AFAIK.) I don't see other solution for this but to put in a parameter that determines how many inputs the plugin will use. (Like it already has for the number of outputs.)acousmod wrote:Hi,

Adding support for more channels will inevitably lead to CPU overload problems, but maybe I could allow more...(If I recall right, I settled on the 8 channels because that was what my desktop computer CPU could handle. Also the waveform view will start getting pretty cramped at the current height if more channels are allowed...)

I can look at doing that at some point, but it might give disappointing results.kingpeenine wrote:had another parameter to move that range/selection around the audio file (& also automate it in the host DAW)

I've removed the downloads for the older versions but the new links in the Xenakios blog would appear to be working.hersisson612 wrote:Hi,

I am now looking at that but it's one of those things that sound so simple but are a lot more complicated to implement. I think I will have to postpone this to a future version. It looks like the whole parameter handling in the plugin would need to be rewritten to support this properly. Also, as I expected would happen, tweaking the "time range offset" parameter causes noise in the sound as it is seeked. To fix that would require the audio buffer reading code to do some fades when the play range is changed. (Admittedly it should be doing that already with the sound start/end parameters, so maybe I'll at least look at fixing that in a more near future version.)kingpeenine wrote:another parameter to move that range/selection around the audio file (& also automate it in the host DAW)
