If my main work was with midi, I may have gone w/ Podium, but it's not so Tracktion seems to be better for my needs.spoonboiler wrote:I'm sorry but.... i think podium is much much better. But, I am very glad that you found what you were looking for, and I wish you many happy hours and sonic fulfillment with your new gear. May you get as much out of it as I do from my fav softwares.

Yeah, that's a bit how I read it and that's why I jumped. I apologize for the tone of my post - it's just that all this marketing from devoted and vocal Tracktion-users at KVR gets a bit tiring for a non-Tracktioneer...koolkeys wrote:I simply stated my OPINIONS, and unless I remember incorrectly(which happens often), I stated that those were the reasons that I like Tracktion. I didn't try to state them as fact, and apolagize if it came out that way.
I agree. Also, workflow CAN be improved through software. Just like a clean desk can improve your performance and organization at work. No, it's not the same for everyone, but Tracktion makes most people who have tried it work better. But not all.

I can see that. But when the thread itself is asking for suggestions, it's hard not to rave about something that has such a positive effect on us.
