Hmm, maybe i'll re-demo it. i just remember the midrange and highs being really fizzy, so yeah, huge bass but not a lot of pleasant reinforcing frequencies up past the low end. Then again, i like modulated basses but hate automating all that in the DAW, so a synth that does all that inside itself might be worth a second-look.

I wouldn't call Thorn, Synthmaster, and Fathom the most expensive synths...

I would also assume that Everett "knows what he is doing".

What? Why would you hate a business? I really like Go2 but it's the only RP synth I own because the others don't really do much for me. But Rob himself seems like ad decent enough guy and he sure knows his stuff. Similarly, there isn't a Moog synth I like but I don't have an opinion one way or the other about the company or the brand, beyond the fact that "Moog" usually also means "ladder filter" and I definitely hate ladder filters.

For me Dune3, Diva and Repro. Somehow i like u-He sound but ZebraHz. I think i have to give Zebra another try since so many think so highly of it.
