I got a down vote for suggesting Chris Squire, I officially give up on this world.

A big part of his sound was due to his picking technique and the fact that his Rickenbacker was a bit lighter after having been wallpapered and having the 't finish removed. Those aren't the sorts of things one would expect to see modeled in Amplitube or its competitors.

That would be worth it just for his 1960s Selmer Zodiac Twin that he used on Disintegration alone.

You could say the same about the Brian May expansion then. Unless you've got a sixpence and the some wood from his parents' fireplace then you won't get the exact sound.

As to Chris Squire, as it happens I've got a Rick and the same plectra he used so I'm part-way there. Just need the skills!
