@cantaloupe

So watch the ones that are listed as being worthwhile. Theres lots of shite out there but theres lots of good info as well. Unfair to say don't watch youtube 🤦‍♂️

Even assuming you've managed to filter out the noise, there's still the issue of the information being fragmented all over the place.

Would be nice if there was a kind of collection of the best information available (according to some wise individuals) on the common topics in music production. Like if i wanted to know more about long reverb or just general reverb basics, there would be collections of links for that, perhaps together with a FAQ and some information about the most common mistakes and such - all in one place. No doubt people on forums have tried to create something like this before but i've never seen anything anywhere near as complete or accurate as it needs to be.

It is what it is. Some good ones have been listed here. Watch them or not. Makes no difference to me

Any recommendation for a good Logic specific channel? I’ve been watching Music Tech Help Guy for a while

Underdog Music School is a great techno centric channel. The guy really breaks the steps down into very digestible parts.

Here's an excellent breakdown on how those low sub rumble techno kicks are made :

Another shout for Oscar here. I’ve picked up good tips from the following too:

- Sonic Academy
- ILIO
- Producertech
- F9 Audio
- Point Blank

Generally I find YouTube to be something of a trap though. More time watching = less time actually producing :phones:

I have seen few videos from Michael White, has a series called mixing with mike

I don't think you can find good production channels on youtube.

They are mostly infomercials either for their own products of shilling to sell other's.
