Definitely.
What's the easiest DAW to learn for someone new to music software?

From what I have seen from the anecdotal data of my circle and the kids in my classes; there is nothing faster to finished song across most musical objectives and thus functional use cases than Mulab. Simple, minimal, uncluttered, non intimidating, single window interface....3 views of the same underlying data accessible from a single button toggle with minimal pop ups...the power user functionality is always immediately accessible, but completely invisible and out of the way until you want it.tickytock wrote: Wed Sep 01, 2021 9:06 pm I'm asking this for someone who doesn't seem highly computer literate in terms of exploring all kinds of software, but she wants to explore composing on a computer. She plays piano and sings.
I've always used Logic, but I remember it was a pain in the ass for me to learn how to use it from scratch, so I can't recommend it to her. Is there something more inviting for her to try? Thanks for suggestions.
I agree that ableton is one of the most intuitive and engaging in my experience, as for one man band performers, it essentially can operate like a hardware live looper...but mutools is adding a session view so it will as well.
Music had a one night stand with sound design.....And the condom broke
