Good call. "An Epic Journey" soundbank for Pigments is very good.
Konstantin Klemm also contributed many patches to one of the latest Pigments 3 soundbanks: https://www.arturia.com/sounds#wavelengths_cinematic

His presets really stood out to me.

I think Marco Mayer for all the korg wavestate sounds is a great sound designer.
His music making skills are also good, but I'm not certain that he creates his own music demos.

My favorite sound designers are mostly the guys who pioneered synth-based musical styles decades ago, like Rhys Fulber, Alan Wilder, Thomas Dolby, etc etc etc…
Bumping this thread to update my reply because I recently discovered Luke Neptune and really like his sound design. I've been on the fence about buying a DSI/Sequential OB-6 for a long time now, and most of the demos I had heard never impressed me enough to buy it, until I started listening to Luke's vintage/classic and synthwave presets and those sold me. I don't usually buy presets for hardware synths, but I'll probably buy all of his OB-6 soundpacks as soon as my synth arrives. :phones:

J3PO's patches for various synths are pretty great.

Well, they sound amazing when he plays them anyway...

Hello, first post here, many years of learning and practicing that I hope to continue. It may be a bit of a switch-up, so my bad If it is. What about your favorite use, piece of gear, workflow, etc for your sound design? I get the "what made it click" question and realize it's an always-growing list. Most of the sound design people I usually get to talk to are from the more field recording and "Old School" methods they can get. I am always interested in what others do and use for their sound design workflows/processes. I prefer to avoid any discord on analog/digital beyond why something works better for you, let's have some fun and organize some noise.

Personally, I am in a bit of resampling, granular manipulation, and rebuilding phase I'm trying to break out of lol. It's tedious and I need to be in a higher output mode now so any inspiration and reminders of semi-forgotten processes I have blinders to are always appreciated. much love
