i think i have the same Yamaha DD-50-something pad kit as S.

my studio consists of two wood TV trays -- one for the laptop and one for the controller. I take up the space in front of the never used fireplace in the TV room.
two of the walls are pretty much windows looking out on a stand of 60 year old white cedar and some balsam fir
the other walls have some minimal (some would say bleak) prairie landscape paintings by a local artist -- Theresa Handy

All I have to do is walk out the door to my office/studio and soak up the 7 1/2 acres of pristine Pacific Northwest rainforest (my property) available to me. That's inspiring enough.

It is an imitation copy but sound pretty good for me.

Those Yamaha pad are soo much fun (and it is usefull too)

The latest addition to my studio is not on the pic yet.

ohh...am I the only one with some abstract spraypainting I bought in greece on the wall?

Coloured lighting seems to be a common thing in studios too...I use green/red myself...very nice
